Great place to consign your luxury items. I dropped off 2 YSL bags on a Friday, they were both sold by Monday! Highly recommended for any and all consignment needs!

This is a great place to shop for clothing and home decor gifts for my wife. I have no idea what I'm talking about with women's clothing but Alex and staff always help me get just the right gift and my wife is always very happy. High-end clothing brands at affordable prices, which makes me happy!

Impressively managed, expertly marketed, beautifully displayed and perfectly curated merchandise! Very friendly owner and employees. It's a 2 hour drive for me but it's worth it! And if you are thinking of consigning, there is no easier consignment process in the land! A well oiled machine.

Most of my closet is from My Girlfriend's Wardrobe! I often get compliments on my outfits and am so excited to tell people about my favorite store. I love that I can get expensive, trendy brands for a fraction of the price, all while reducing my carbon footprint by buying secondhand. They also have the best employees and wonderful service. Whenever I visit, I always find great pieces. Consigning with them is also very easy.

The staff is SO sweet, making the shopping experience welcoming and special. The quality and prices of the items are amazing.

One of York’s brightest gems. I’ve never bought anything in here that is not of the highest quality. You can tell that they take pride in everything they put out on the sales floor. I’ve yet to come across anything that looks like second- hand.
Equally important is the way they make you feel when you come in to the store. I shop here when I’m in the city, which is not as often these days as it used to be, but every single time, I’m made to feel recognized and so welcome. Truly one of my favorite businesses in York!

I lived in York and have bought from My Girlfriend's Wardrobe several times in person. Now I live in Virginia and still buy from them and just have items shipped. Not only is the quality of the products amazing, the selection is wonderful and best of all there's no chance in buying a fake (especially if you're in the market for a nicer handbag!). Shipping is always quick and customer service has always been paramount. Awesome local small business!

I only live a half hour away yet I shop almost exclusively online through their Facebook postings- everything always comes fast, well packaged And is the absolute cutest , quality stuff. A favorite clothing shop of mine FOR SURE!!!

Such a unique store! I find something cool every time I stop in! The owner, Alex, is very discerning with the pieces she consigns. The closing is always close to new. Incredible deals on amazing designers. There's shoes, jewelry, purses and all sorts of clothing.

I've also consigned here. The process is simple, you can schedule an appointment online and bring your items in. She provides a complete list of brands and items she will accept. If your items don't sell, she'll happily donate them for you. If your item sell, you'll get your check regularly.

If you're looking for glamorous, name brand items an extremely reasonable prices, stop in and check it out. Best part, you're supporting a locally-owned business!

As a consignor, I am beyond happy with the results of the sales on merchandise I had brought in during the month of April. Sold quite a few items during the first week or two. I hadn’t checked my account for a little while and was surprised when I checked this morning with how much had gone out last week!! Very pleased as well with a purchase I had made of a bibs short set with T-shirt. Love it and have worn it quite often already. Definitely recommend being a consignor and shopper!!!!!

My Girlfriends Wardrobe is the best consignment shop I have ever shopped at. During the quarantine they seriously saved my sanity. They had live sales and Alexandra showed things and explained things. I basically got a new wardrobe of very cute and affordable things. Even since we are allowed to go back out and shop I am still always looking at her Facebook story and Instagram story every day for cute stuff and I buy something every week and then I make a trip to the store to pick up my stuff and buy even more stuff. Love the store...love her...love the merchandise...if you want name brand items at great prices this is definitely your place!!

I absolutely love this store! Alex is amazing and really, truly knows her stuff! They are also very honest, which can be rare in retail. Case in point, sometimes I'll see cute items on her Instagram stories, and ask about how she thinks the item will fit me (I'm a regular shopper so she's seen me in person). Alex is great at telling me if she thinks they would be too big, or too small, or fit just right. I really appreciate this honesty as it has stopped me from buying something that wouldn't fit correctly, which saves me money in the long run. Additionally, the selection of styles and sizes is amazing. Also, new items are always being added and rotated, so it's like finding new goodies all the time! Since finding this store, I've stopped buying from commercial chains, and exclusively shop at MGW. Love it!

Working with My Girlfriend's Wardrobe was my first experience consigning, and Alex and the team at MGW made it simple and enjoyable! From setting up the appointment to drop off items, to checking in on the inventory, and getting paid, the whole process was easy and very professional. The MGW team was available to answer any questions I had along the way, and they did a great job promoting items available for sale, so my inventory went fast! Another nice perk is that they will donate any unclaimed items, so there's no additional hassle to pick up what's left. I would highly recommend consigning with My Girlfriend's Wardrobe!

MGW is one of my favorite places to visit when I am downtown. Alex and her mom have a beautiful shop, and a great selection of quality clothing, shoes, bags, etc.
The staff is friendly, and helpful. Their fill a bag sales are totally worth going to! So many great deals, so many great items!
I consign there as well. They are very fair.
Perfect for a “girls day”—lunch at White Rose, and a quick walk to MGW for a little retail therapy!
