Mitsuru-Ya Chinese and Japanese Restaurant

There are a few good places for sushi in York but this is a great place for sushi. Friendly staff. Unique rolls. My favorite roll is the beef and asparagus roll. Start off with the seaweed salad and some hot green tea.

This place has the most fresh, flavorful sushi in York!! Every piece is good-sized and paired with fresh sliced ginger. Not to mention the atmosphere is always peaceful and comforting. Me and the BF love it here because we are usually anxious anywhere else. We keep coming back and THAT'S what makes an amazing restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to go on my date nights with the hubby. The food is great and the staff always treats us amazing.

Wow! Amazing! Oishi! There are so many words I want to use to express our experience! The food was phenomenal and the portions were massive! The staff was courteous, prompt, and kind! And the establishment was clean and unique! The bill was also super reasonable. This is a great place for people to try japanese and chinese or just find a new comfort food! We ate so much and spent so little and the quality was superb! Will be back. (Hopefully they open a location closer to us in the meantime!)

I loved this place. First time eating her. Everything was awesome. Sushi best I have had in York. We found our chinese food place. This is the steamed chicken and mixed veggies. So good.

Excellent service and very good sushi rolls. I got a bento box as well that was delicious.

Loved it here!!! I can't have rice or noodles so I had a simple side salad with ponzu sauce and tempera appetizer (chicken&shrimp) it was soooo good!!! My husband had spicy salmon roll w/ roe and scallop roll he absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back

It looks like they are gone for good. Their Mitsuru-Ya sign was taken down...Sad to see it go.

This place has the best food. The wonton soup is to die for. In my opinion anyhow, I literally crave it. Prices are good, they only have carry out right now, but that's ok. Everyone is always pleasant! I really hope they reopen soon. Hope all are well.

One of my favorite independent restaurants! Aaron and Susan (the owners) are the nicest people. Additionally the food is ALWAYS consistently excellent. This is my favorite place for sushi in York. The ramen, hibachi, and Chinese dishes are also delicious. The hot and sour soup is the best I've EVER had. It's also clean and comfortable. 10/10.

No hibachi show but that's perfectly fine when you've seen it a million times before. Plus the food was just as delicious and took less time to get to the plate and table.

Quality is always at the highest. The sushi is always a must when coming here. The tempura is also very crunchy and delicious. My husband's favorite thing to get is their ramen. He gets it every time we go. It's such a huge bowl for the price too! Everything is definitely well worth the price and you won't leave hungry. The staff are also very friendly and remember their regulars. Our favorite sushi place in York County.

Dishes here are consistently delicious. I can always count on a good meal. Can definitely taste the difference as compared to other sushi spots due to the high quality fish. Food is also done at the estimated time given. Closest thing to Pacific sushi here in central PA

Service is impeccable and so friendly. The food wasn't just fresh and mouthwatering but it also was a work of art. I almost didn't want to ruin the masterpiece that was on my plate by eating it, but was to die for. I have been here before but this was by far the best I have ever had. The experience was above and beyond the best I have ever had in any restaurant. Thanks to the staff for everything you made my birthday celebration amazing

This place is incredibly delicious. Sweet and quick service. The green onion pancake was fabulous, as were the crunchy spicy salmon roll.

My husband and I ordered 4 rolls and soup. The service was fast and polite. The miso soup was good but the rolls were awesome. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. They were prepared and presented beautifully. My new favorite sushi spot in york!

First time here, won't be the last. Stopped in for lunch, everything was good. Bonus points for location, lol, spur of the moment manicure next door and discovered the amazing cheese place next door!

I have been getting Sushi here for several years, they are my go to spot! Dine in, take out, or even when I've gotten delivery through Grub Hub they are always spot on and never miss a thing. Fried Tofu, Miso Soup, and Fried Rice is delicious as well. Try some Warm Sake if your dining in! Well earned 5 stars.

My hubby and I love this place and go here often. The service is excellent, and the owner is very kind and always takes time out to speak to us personally. The food it delicious with a lot of variety - definitely above average sushi. The sushi/sashimi is always fresh and I love that everything is so open so you can watch your food being made (if you so choose). The restaurant is always clean and tidy. I highly recommend you try it!
