Elm

Came for “the best burger in CT” and Elm didn’t disappoint. Burgers came in under 10 minutes and we finished them in under 5. So juicy and so flavorful. One complaint is the bottom bun could be a little thicker- but other than that my family and I left with a WOW impression.

The food was very delicious. Creative ingredients. The kale salad with a smoked cheddar 🧀 was very savory, satisfying and healthy.

The rib eye steak was also delicious (but perhaps less healthy).

I would also recommend the pasta. Not homemade but delicious. We had the lumache (spicy pork bolognese) was very good. Didn't have any other of the pastas though.

Service was friendly.

Came here for my birthday dinner tonight and the food and drinks were amazing! We traveled an hour and a half to come here and we were not disappointed. Will definitely be back

The burger was the most delicious in the area! The servers were so kind and elevated our experience through recommendations & replacements for a vegetarian in our party.

We arrived 30 mins early for our reserved time and the host sat us down at an empty table, served us drinks, and made sure we were alright (but we were EARLY and they accommodated US - you never see this).

Very clean atmosphere as soon as you enter the restaurant. We decided to try them out for brunch last minute. Staff is very attentive to the guests. The menu is a little on the pricier side but the service was very quick! The king cole cocktail was one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. We started with the pull apart bread which was light and fluffy. My friend had the crispy pork hash and I did the lobster roll with a side of the black truffle fries. The hash had a really good flavor and the mushrooms had a slight crisp to them adding an extra flavor! Would definitely try them out for dinner service in the future!

My new favorite spot. The food was so fresh and delicious. Highlights were the tuna tartare and the summer salad. We sat outside on the patio and it was great. Attentive service and all round excellent experience!

Great food here. We got the club sandwich, fries and tomato soup. The service staff and fast, kind and very nice to us. We were able to get in and out really fast like we hoped for. We were able to find parking near by so it was not bad at all.

I frequent Elm regularly, and each visit reaffirms why it's my favorite spot.
The food never fails to impress with its delicious flavors and impeccable presentation.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the consistently warm and attentive staff.
They make every visit feel like a cherished experience.

I can’t speak highly enough about Elm - from the delicious food, to the level of care provided by every staff member, to the exceptional cocktails and hospitality provided by Hector @ the bar. We choose Elm time and time again to celebrate our most special milestones and memories, including our engagement party. 10/10 recommend Elm once and promise you won’t want to go anywhere else.

Enjoyed brunch here with some friends. Awesome (loaded) Bloody Mary! I had the omelet with mushrooms, spinach and fontina - it was light and delicious with a yummy potato patty.

Ringing in the New Year at Elm was absolutely delightful! Not only did the festive atmosphere sparkle, but our taste buds popped with every bite. The star of the show was the incredible beef dish - melt-in-your-mouth tender, bursting with rich flavor, and cooked to absolute perfection. It was a true culinary celebration, making Elm the perfect backdrop for a memorable and delicious New Year's Eve.

Excellent food and presentation. The staff was remarkable. The wait time to get our food needs to improve.

I loved this place! It had a very modern ambiance and was extremely clean. The staff was very polite and couldn't have been better.
They have dishes that are unique while others are classic and traditional. Appetizers include a liver mousse, pizza topped with soured honey and fontina cheese, and chips and guacamole.
My meal was a classic burger and it was delicious, I would definitely get it again.
The place is more on the pricey side but not outrageous, I give it 5 stars.

Elm is a delightful cosy restaurant and quite unassuming from outside. I loved its salad meal which is full of super fresh ingredients. Overall you can expect a well thought out and diverse menu, that surprisingly fits in a single sheet of paper. efficient service and very friendly staff is another plus.

One of the BEST restaurants in Fairfield county, Chef Luke’s Elm is a regular for us in New Canaan. The food is outstanding and the service is perfection. Gladys and Hector, two of the few managers/bartenders are simply a delight! Now back to the food…we had a fantastic Mother’s Day meal. The Prime Dry Aged T-bone with a smashed potato is outstanding. Wish this was a regular on the menu.
