I had SST PAINTING come sand and stain my deck and they did a beautiful job! Also had them sand and paint my front entrance way. Will be having them rehab my garage in the near future! Great company to work with!

SST Painting and Carpentry is hands down one of the best painting services. I called late Thursday evening, and scheduled an estimate for the following day – all other companies I called were at least a week wait just for an estimate. Iris arrived at my home, and was very attentive to what I wanted done, and offered his expert advice and knowledge as how best to complete the job. He offered me an extremely fair price. When I asked how long it be until done, he told me a week or two – a lot sooner than any other painter was even available to come out to give me an estimate! Little did I know, Iris was going to have his son manage my project, and it would be done in eight days – and that is eight days from when I called him to schedule the estimate! The crew came in and power washed my house, then came a few days later and began to hand paint every surface of the house. All other painters I spoke with said hand painting was too much labor and ‘not worth it’ – not for SST! The results are unbelievable. I was going to attempt to do this myself, and I am truly glad I did not. There is no way I could have achieved how great my home now looks. SST Painting was extremely professional, everything was communicated very clearly and quickly, the crew’s attention to detail was second to none, and they were so fast! All of my neighbors are saying how nice the house looks now. From here on out, they are the only painting services I will ever use and will always recommend them. Thank you SST for breathing new life into my home!

Just closed on an old fixer upper in Wolcott, CT and had two old toilets that leaked terribly on each flush. Iris and his expert crew installed two new toilets with NO LEAKS. Absolutely beautiful. His crew was on-time, on-budget, quick, thorough, and solid. No mess, no fuss. I will definitely use his crew again for my home repairs.

Most people worry about the best price for the best job when they want a big project done. We were concerned about both. Upon meeting Iris, the owner of the business, his assurance, personality, and the way he addressed our questions made us feel very comfortable with him right off the bat. Our house is 123 years old and he had no hesitation on what to do on any of it. That made us feel like he was very experienced. He set a timeline which he stayed within, if you don’t take into account all the rainy days we had. He use the best paint and stain. He kept in touch with us continuously before during, and after the project, which was painting the exterior of our Victorian home. When it was finished, he walked the premises with us to make sure we had no questions or objections about how anything was done. There was one spot we weren’t sure of, but he redid it anyway because he wanted us happy with his work. His workers showed up when they said they would. They worked all day and into the evenings. Iris was very accommodating, no matter what we asked for. His communication back-and-forth with us was excellent and beyond any other people we have ever hired. He is very conscientious about his work and his name. To us this is old school, compared to most people out there who just want to make money and don’t care about what they’ve left behind. Iris was punctual, honest, sincere, very communicative, and even funny, because he made us laugh. We would recommend him very highly, and we had never met him before, so it’s not like we knew him. We would say he goes above and beyond everyone else we’ve come across. If you need any of the work that Iris or SST offers, you really shouldn’t go anywhere else. We know if we ever need what he offers again we will definitely hire him. He made us feel like family and to us, that’s a pretty big deal. Our house looks beautiful and we’re so proud of the workmanship in the painting that SST did. Thank you SST and thank you, Iris, from the bottom of our hearts!

I came across Iris by just doing a google searchI had the pleasure of meeting Iris at SST Painting and contracted him to do our house and a separate 2 car garage. After I initially spoke to Iris on the phone he came out immediately to estimate the job, which was pretty involved since our home is older. It needed a lot of care with scraping, caulking, carpentry, deck oiling and priming. His son and crew were on site within days to prep for painting by power washing and his son is very kind and professional as was his crew. They worked all day in the heatwave we had in July and still did an excellent job. They were always neat on time and super receptive if I had any concerns by going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make sure i was satisfied. I will recommend Iris to anyone who needs their home painted and I cant say enough good things about his services!

Over the course of the past 3 months, we have had the opportunity to use SST for a variety of issues that we needed to have done with our house. From the carpenter to the roofers and finally, to the painters, we could not be more happy with the way everything has turned out. Iris and crew were completely professional and were absolutely receptive to all of our needs. Everything was done in a timely manner and Iris was always on top of the issues that came up and communicated with us right away on how to handle the problems. In addition, SST provided us with extremely fair pricing for all of the services rendered.

Iris is a knowledgeable professional. He diagnosed the issues with our deck, helping us understand the best way to resolve the problem and promptly providing us with a quote. As we are still determining what to do with some parts of the deck, we have not proceeded, but would hire SST to do the job because of Iris' commitment to doing things right.
