Had dinner here recently and would definitely recommend! Great supper club feel. Went on a Wednesday night and was surprisingly busy! Even though our waitress was running she was fantastic as was the food. Shrimp cocktail, prime rib, cod (sorry I forgot pics). Really great would recommend any of these!

Love supporting this long time restaurant in Stratford, CT. Known for their prime rib and delicious horseradish sauce. Huge variety on their menu - great choices for everyone. They have several rooms for dining, space for private parties, and a bar. Great desserts and coffee!

The food is always excellent!!! Especially the prime Rib ( served every day) The wait staff is friendly and attentive but, Best of all they have the best prices for cocktails and wine. You actually get a full glass of wine and an appropriate amount of liquor in your cocktail! Unlike like most places that overcharged you for mostly juice.

Lobster Bisque Is To Die For...!!! Chris is such a nice bartender. Bobby bartends on the weekends. Great guy... Known him for years. I flew 800 miles for the Bisque. I stay for the friendly atmosphere...

Really enjoyed the pork chop dinner. The waitress was very attentive and service was excellent. Very relaxing evening.

The vibes here are immaculate. I go here all the time and chose to go here for my 21st birthday. The staff is incredible and the food changed my life. The dishes are always fresh and delicious. The drinks are always made right. Bob the bartender is amazing, great guy. The owner, Chris, always makes me laugh and treats us like family. I’m usually the youngest one there but it’s always a good time. Please, give this place a try you won’t regret it.

Excellent food!!! Attended a birthday party and they offered the guest 4 meal choices. Had the roast beef... Sooooo gooood! Had multiple servers working their butts off going above and beyond.

This was better than I had expected. Even though the menu is large, they seem to be able to handle. The party I was with numbered 10 and all the food came out at the same time and was hot. The waitress (name Helen) was very attentive to all needs. A very top flight experience.

Food is great, must try the rice pudding home made and the service is excellent. I accidentally spilled a drop of food on my shirt and from no where unexpected waitress came out and hand it me a cup with soap. I was surprised and very appreciate. Great food, desserts and awesome service.

Went by the blue goose over a thousand times, never ate there. Looked at menu on line. Gave it a try .excellent service, huge menu. Food was great. Prices were comparable to other restaurants. We'll be going back. 😎👍

Amazing prime rib! HUGE, juicy, delicious, perfectly cooked. Maybe the best I've ever had! And so reasonable. Two dinners, a drink, dessert... under $60.00.
Starting with the warm greeting we received on the way in, we felt welcomed and comfortable, throughout.
Service was great... prompt, efficient, professional and friendly.
The furnishings were a but weathered, but everything else was just perfect.
A definite do-over!

Visiting from out of town. Our server was warm and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfect and sooooo good. Would highly recommend.

As an out-of-towner, I am never quite sure what to expect when going to a restaurant recommended by local relatives. However each time I have dinner at the Blue Goose, I have been more than pleasantly surprised. Whether a small party of 4-6, or a large group of 40+, the food and service has been prompt, friendly, & excellent. And always get the Peach Melba. A favorite of my Uncle Don, and the perfect way to end any meal!

A wonderful place to celebrate with family! Our waitress Donna was very attentive and our meals were ALL delicious! I would recommend the Crab stuffed Sole with Lobster sauce. The menu is extensive with choices for any member of the family and the prices very reasonable!

Food's always good and it's not expensive. Menu was made on Microsoft Word in the early 90's and hasn't been updated since, nor has the decor. No complaints. I come here 2-3 times a year because I know what I'm getting and I like it. See you folks in a few months :)

This is a regular Friday night spot for my family. I can't say enough about them. Everyone is so accommodating, they treat my children like gold. Their food is delicious. We LOVE the prime rib. The manhattan clam chowder is to die for and I don't usually eat it. The rice pudding, stuffed fish, wonderful! Love them

I have been coming here before and after the new owner change. Simply put, but food, atmosphere, and everything else is better NOW than it ever was. These poor reviews are either false or out of spite. I visit this restaurant at least twice a month and I am never disappointed. For the price, I always leave happier than i come in! I love it, and I always will. See y'all soon.

The food was fantastic and the martini was phenomenal. Please give this place a chance and don’t let the area deter you, not that it’s bad but I assure you looks are deceiving when it comes to the outside vs. the inside. Customer service and staff were exceptional and will definitely be back.
