Second time here and it was great. Food was excellent, cedar plank salmon and filet mignon. The bar was noisy because of a New Year's Eve crowd, but during our previous visit it was quite. Highly recommended!

Came here with colleagues for lunch and it was fantastic. Everything was delicious, and the calamari was the best I have EVER had. Highly recommend the calamari. We had a three course lunch (appetizers, meal, and coffee/dessert) and will definitely be coming back. When I said "a million stars" I meant it.

2x1 3-6pm everyday and Wednesday $1 oysters. WOW. Great place. Always great service.

I am SO grateful to have had my engagement party at Old Post Tavern. My guests absolutely LOVED the food, the room, the service, all the servers were very attentive and extremely helpful. Meg is awesome. They went above and beyond for me!!! I will recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you guys for making our special day truly memorable!!!!!!

Late lunch salmon BLT fabulous! Truffle soup amazing. They were shorthanded but our severs were attentive. The menu has many choices salad super fresh and it's a bargain compared to other local eateries! Right downtown Fairfield!

The service here is impeccable. The food is great and comes out in a timely manner. Nothing but good things to say. Under-rated as far as I'm concerned.

We've only been here once with our little one, but will definitely come back. The food and service were great. The place was a bit packed when we were there, but not overly so.

Well arrived at 5:30 on a Friday without a reservation and had to wait 30 min to get seated. Would recommend getting a reservation.

Probably the best food I've had in Westport and for my wife and I the bill was under $40. Service was prompt and accurate. How can 2 people go out to eat in a respectable restaurant in westport for under $150? I hope the wait staff share their tips with the kitchen because they both earned it today.

Happened on this restaurant with my wife and grandchildren on a Monday. Since all the other restaurants seemed to be closed, that they wanted to try. So, we stopped in here. I loved the Raw bar sampled all the offerings. The kids were crazy about the Nacho appetizer with steak. All the food was served in nice order. All our entrees came together and hot. Hats off to the kitchen. We went again with another couple last week. Same great food and service. I want to go back for Wed. $1 clams and oyster raw bar or Seafood Paella. Hope that is a regular weekly Wed. thing, so I can enjoy the raw bar again. Will be back for sure.

Have visited many times as two of my sons have attended Sacred Heart University nearby. The food at Old Post Tavern is always spot on. The service consistently exceptional. We find ourselves returning there almost every time we visit our sons at SHU. The French Onion Soup is almost a required selection each visit (it is that good!) and I also highly recommend the Salmon BLT.

Great corner location. Good menu selection. Fair prices. My only complaint was the classic rock playing didn't quite go with the laid back Sunday brunch vibe. (May have been a one time thing)

What an amazing little place. Pit stop heading north to Maine from Philadelphia. Wish I lived in town to try the entire menu... food was amazing and staff was outstanding !
