A nice little gem of a beach surrounded by trees (read shade). Our family loved the clear, warm water, and kids had a lot of fun jumping off the dock and building sandcastles. Also, a lovely backdrop of the green hills.

Well kept, small public beach on a beautiful lake in New Hampshire? What's not to love?! They have tetherball and paddleboats and kayaks and lifeguards and a swimming dock and tennis courts and a beach!

Town in New Hampshire

Hanover is a town located along the Connecticut River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 11,870. The town is home to the Ivy League university Dartmouth College, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory, and Hanover High School. The Appalachian Trail crosses the town, connecting with a number of trails and nature preserves.
