We stopped on the way to NH. It’s right of the highway so it was very convenient for us. My latte was delicious. It had perfect foam and it was at good temperature. The place is very small inside so we had to get our coffee to go. Bathroom was clean. Baristas were friendly. We would definitely stop again when making the trip

The Spanish latte was maybe the best coffee I've ever had in my life, and I'm reasonably picky. The creamiest! The place itself is cute as heck and the staff were super warm and friendly. Bought a lovely shirt to commemorate!

Hands down, the best caramel latte I have ever had! I am thankful to live right down the street, but I have friends who will drive in from over 30 minutes to grab a coffee! A very cute place to spend a morning or afternoon

Best drip coffee around here imo… I’ve also tried their iced latte a while back and that was really good. Recently had a drip coffee from a certain coffee shop in Manchester 🤐 that I have been to many times, and was struck by how much less I enjoyed it compared to story’s drip. Bakery stuff is not bad either. In terms of their specialty drinks, the ones I’ve tasted were too sweet imo . But if you just want drip coffee, this is the place

Tried their spanish latte twice, the second time it felt a bit milky and less caffeinated but it was also very close to their closing time so that’s probably it. Will definitely go back and try their cortado. Loved the roasted mushroom sandwich!

Great little café! The plain latte was delicious and hot.

I got the BEC and was not disappointed. There was a decent amount of hot sauce on mine, but it was great despite that.

The whole bean coffee is market price for 12oz. They had at least 4 different types of coffee for sale among their merch.

This space is a little small, with probably 9 to 10 seats indoors in the front, and probably for 10-20 outside the front.

Walking from downtown was no issue - I will definitely be coming back here!

Stopped by this morning on the recommendation of a friend. Easy street parking, friendly staff, excellent muffin and flat white. Sat outside and was joined by some people I did not know. Had an excellent conversation. Great local Hartford vibe.

If you’re looking for a quaint, homy, and cute little coffee shop then Story and Soil is the place for you. I had some hot tea and it was tasty! I didn’t wait long for my drink either.

Literally the most amazing and adorable little coffee shop we’ve been in on our trip from New Jersey to New York! The atmosphere, people, outdoor seating, drinks, and food were all spectacular.

Let’s just say we ate one cookie and craved more. We literally chugged the loose leaf black tea that tasted like the best black tea we’ve ever had to drink before. My best friend savored her almond latte. Anddddd the only thing we didn’t really care for that we ordered was the cheddar biscuit. Looks amazing. Taste is a bit bland for our liking. But still good overall.

Great vibe and delicious Spanish latte! Staff are friendly, place is clean, and they have an assortment of artwork on display that you can purchase. Local shop fare is cute and on point.

Love this little hole in the wall! The first time we came, it was a bit too busy given how small it is, but the second time I ubered here, was an amazing experience! Super quiet on a weekday and relaxing! Delicious Spanish latte and green bowl!

Highly recommend visiting for a wonderful coffee experience. The staff is kind and helpful (and patient!) The inside is cozy, baked goods are yummy. Best seasonal drinks that don’t follow the crowd.

The coffee was delicious and their menu is so creative! Taryn was an awesome help and made some great drinks. Would highly recommend this coffee shop. We tried the Spanish latte and a fall specialty latte and they were amazing!

Great coffee store if you’re looking for local store instead of some regular coffee chains. Their Spanish Latte is great ( that’s the only coffee I have tried so far)

This place is amazing. I wish the specialty coffee came in bigger cups for the price but hey the flavor is well worth it. They have a huge variety of coffees that change on a regular basis. The staff is very knowledgeable of the products they serve.

Got a Samoas latte and it was pretty great! Came here with two co-workers and it's such a small little place but I LOVE that about it. There weren't seats available inside but there are picnic tables outside and it was really nice. Everyone of us loved our drink. One friend got a Spanish Latte I believe and my other friend got a lemonade with these other fruit flavors. They have gluten free options which was super appreciated!! The service was super quick and they have a bulletin board which contains all these local events. Super awesome little place. Would go again if I'm in the area 🥰

I had their Gingerbread muffin, and it was the most delicious things I've had all month! The staff here have big smiles on and are very polite. It's a really nice atmosphere and feels really cozy. (And that is saying something for a first visit!!) There is music playing and plenty of chatter. I liked that they have a lot of options for drinks and foods. Vegan options too! I got the hot matcha green tea latte with almond milk, but I had a few other milk options, too. 10/10
