Chris T. was PHENOMENAL and for the first time, made the process of buying new furniture relaxing and enjoyable! She gave us space to shop in peace, and truly did her best to respectfully give us our privacy until we required her assistance; at which time she was available immediately. She was knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and was able to blend conversation and sales seamlessly. We’re so very excited about our new living room furniture. They are by far the nicest pieces we have ever owned, and the fabric protection package is unbeatable - true peace of mind. The next time we are in the market for furniture, we will definitely be returning to Pilgrim’s Manchester location.

I was eager but not ready to change my 1 year old living room furniture. I knew getting the old out had to be done before bringing new in. Also knew exactly what I was looking for. My sister had an exceptional experience @ Pilgrim and we both had not so great experiences at R & F. I asked my sister to come lookat furniture with me but NOT TO LET ME BUY...i knew if I went alone I would make a premature purchase. We entered the store, were not accosted by commission-minded salespeople and were very comfortable walking around at our own pace. saw exactly what I wanted and my sister encouraged me to ask about terms, delivery, availability etc. I was not ready to buy !! We approached a friendly gentleman who was willing to answer questions...turns out he was the manager. NOT PUSHY, no pressure, explained several options and insisted that I was under no pressure to do anything more. We talked about COVID slowing things down and how that may work in my favor. Also, the price was really good as there was a sale. anyway, you know the rest...I bought the 2 pieces I was looking for, opened a charge account and can accept delivery at my convenience. This was truly an outstanding experience. The gal at the finance desk took care of opening my credit card and was friendly & efficient. The store was clean, well organized & easy to find what I was looking for. Pilgrim is definitely my go-to furniture store.

I made my first purchase with Pilgrim a few months ago. The sales guy was friendly and answered all of our questions. We recently went back and was helped by the Store Manager, Dave P. He was very knowledgeable and made my husband and I feel very comfortable with our special order sectional purchase. We will be in the market for a mattress soon and will go back to the Manchester store to see Dave again. Pilgrim Furniture is lucky to have him. -Kim & Mike L

My husband and I went into the store on a whim and found the perfect sectional for our new home. Jenny helped us and was phenomenal. She was helpful, informative and truly went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant. We cannot wait to come back and purchase more furniture for our home!

Was invited in to look around, then approached to answer any questions. Don was so helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Our MATTRESS selection was made easy because of it. I recommend going with the mattress cover for trial 90 days and added warranty. Staff was very careful with social distancing and sanitizing, it made us feel very comfortable. I loved the showroom. I immediately found exactly what I was looking for. Dave treated me like I was his “favorite” customer. He fulfilled my order with ease and took the extra step to ensure delivery was scheduled due to my availability. While I can’t remember the associate’s name who helped me at the front desk, I wanted to add that she was very friendly and warm....not what you typically see at furniture stores. I’m addition to my dining set, I bought mattresses also. I highly recommend this store.

Our Salesman Marty was great, very patient and attentive without being intrusive. Jessica? Who processed or credit app was friendly and professional. The guys loading our car were equally nice. We are very happy with our furniture as well!

Customer service at Manchester location was excellent. Great buying experience. Given time and space to make selection on my own. Staff was extremely helpful. Will certainly purchase from Pilgrim again. The store manager (Dave) is a fantastic guy. Very honest and easy to get along with.

Pilgrim Furniture and Mattress was a pleasure to do business with. Jenny, our design consultant was very helpful and informative. She showed us three different mattresses and allowed us to try them and compare them to each other. Answering questions and giving us time to decide, she made our decision a very easy one. We will return when we are looking at living room furniture a bit down the road. This was our first time shopping at Pilgrim and it was a great experience.

My husband and I have been going back and forth deciding what type of furniture we wanted for our new house. We have never shopped at Pilgrims furniture nor did we have any opinions from others to go there. We were highly highly satisfied with Dave Puglise who dealt with us on both trips to the store. The customer service was by far some of the best service we have received. We will be back for more items in the near future with the help of Dave and all of his experience dealing with customers and knowledge of 20yrs plus of furniture. We had a great experience shopping at Pilgrim. The salesman we met was not pushy at all, and let us look around at our own pace without coming back to check on us every five minutes. We were not certain if we wanted to buy a particular bedroom set, so we found the salesman and he helped us learn more about the set, as well as the various sales / financing options that Pilgrim has. We ultimately decided to purchase the bedroom set. The delivery / assembly charge was $150, and we declined the protection program, although it was good to know that you can pick which items you want to purchase the protection program for (instead of having to purchase it for the whole set).

We visited Pilgrim Furniture for the first time over the course of two days this past weekend. Immediately, we saw and felt a difference compared to other furniture stores we've gone to. To put it simply, this one just felt right. We were greeted by Sales Associate, Scott Destromp. Scott has been wonderful, to say the least! We explained what we were looking for and he immediately brought us to our perfect couch! He discussed the details with us, and was patient while my husband and I debated on size configurations and multiple couch and pillow fabrics, all while juggling our two active small children. Scott is accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. He never once seemed aggravated with us, and never tried to "push" a sale. He listened to our needs and helped guide us in choosing the perfect living/family room set for our new home. We highly recommend you ask for him on your next visit! Thank you again Scott!!

We had been to all the stores looking for a sectional. We finally took a ride to Pilgrim in Manchester , Very impressed with the furniture and prices. The other big stores all seem to have the same stuff just under different names. Pilgrim was different. They had what we were looking for, no pressure.
When the couch was delivered ( on time and when promised) the 3 gentlemen were polite and caring not to damage the couch or my house. Well 6 months went by and we had a spring come loose and was pressing on the back side soon the damage the couch. I called on a Sunday not expecting any help but I was wrong. A very caring and polite person scheduled for a couple a days from Sunday. When they came out they took the couch apart and fixed it and you can not even tell they had it apart. I am very happy, We will be back. I praise your company to many and will continue to recommend to all. Keep up the AWESOME JOB you are doing and they will come.

I loved the appearance of the store. The quality of the furniture is high end and comfy and put together very nicely. My salesperson was very accommodating. The price was very reasonable for what I bought. The delivery was scheduled within 24 hours, which was impressive. When my furniture was delivered, I had a few concerns about the appearance of some of the funiture, as I am very picky. I called the Manchester Store and voiced my concerns. The customer service was above and beyond. I was then transferred to Service and again, the customer service was above and beyond. My issues were resolved and my furniture was replaced almost immediately. Everyone I dealt with was so nice, attentive, professional, compassionate and truly cared about my satisfaction and happiness with my purchase. I would highly recommend Pilgrim Furniture City to anyone and I will definitely use Pilgrim Furniture City for any future shopping needs. I have to admit that I was really worried that I would be stuck with something less than perfect, and I am so thrilled that I ended up with perfect, especially in such a short period of time, less than one week to resolve my concerns and replace my furniture. They have a great staff, great management and great service department. Kudos to you Pilgrim Furniture City!

I had an outstanding experience today. Scott was incredibly thorough and helpful. He immediately sensed that I wanted a little space to pick out furniture on my own, and was very accommodating once I was ready to place my order. He made the check-out process super efficient and easy. I am ecstatic about the furniture I bought today, and appreciate the superior customer service Scott delivered. Went in to browse as we are moving into a new home in MA and wanted to get an idea of selection, prices and their flexibility on holding furniture until our closing. The store manager Dave helped us and was awesome. We ended up special ordering a couch, loveseat and they are holding a dining room set for us. Couldn't be happier!

We needed to replace our bed frame and mattress. Took advantage of Pilgrims 25+25 discount sale. Marty, our sales rep at the Manchester CT store was excellent. He took extra time with us to be sure our selections were exactly to our taste and the mattress fit our sleeping modes perfectly.

We received excellent customer service from Dave over the years and have always come back because we know he is knowledgeable, kind and makes the whole shopping experience pleasant. We have had to do some changes with our purchases and Dave always takes care of the transition, seamlessly. He is a great communicator and he is someone we trust. We always recommend Dave to our family and friends. He is the best.

I bought 2 beautiful recliners at Pilgrim Furniture on Black Friday. The salesman was personable and professional. The chairs do everything...power lift, heat and massage! for a good price and we're getting them delivered Tuesday!

Time to buy a mattress! Great sale going on. The Manchester store has a really good selection of brands and styles. The Sales Person was friendly, gave us space to test out what we were looking for and made us feel very comfortable, even during this odd time of shopping during a pandemic. Would definitely recommend this store!!
