Junior's Winooski

We were visiting Vermont for our anniversary and tried Juniors at the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely fabulous traditional Italian food! Huge portions, great staff, and a lovely atmosphere. We highly recommend it!

We both went with the Veal Parmigiano with thin spaghetti. Excellent choice. HUGE portion. A boat load of thinly sliced bread was delivered to the table ahead of time. I highly recommend. It was a late arriving dinner crowd, but by the time we left at 8:00 it had a nice crowd.

Awesome little Italian restaurant, the staff of awesome! They were super friendly and extremely attentive to us!
Really good food, good wine and decent prices for the portions, (they are large!) try the raspberry margaritas! Would definitely go again if in the area!

November 2022 Update - Jr's Original Peking Duck is back to being an Italian restaurant, so what follows is not relevant any longer :(

First things first... you might have guessed by the restaurant's name, this is no longer an Italian restaurant! Make sure you're looking at the right reviews and menus when doing your research.

We were saddened to hear of Silver Palace's closing but delighted to hear the two chefs from Silver Palace were going to be serving up the delicious food we'd become accustomed to at this new location, Jr's Original Peking Duck House.

We started with a couple of cocktails (Sparkling Blossom and Tokyo Fashion) to accompany our appetizers - Popcorn Shrimp and Szechuan Dim Sum. Both were delicious and we did a very poor job of pacing ourselves.

We chose the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Sesame Shrimp for our entrees and were delighted by the aroma and taste of the food. The servings were large and we have plenty left for another meal.

Our server (I didn't get his name... sorry!!) was fantastic. He was attentive and made an already great dining experience that much better. Definitely going back!

I never write reviews, but this place deserves it!!!! We are visiting from PA and had an early dinner at Jr’s this evening. We started by splitting a small Caesar salad. I had the Sorrentino and my husband had the Marsala. The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken cutlets in both entrees were paper thin and very tender. And the marinara was 10/10– my Italian grandma would most certainly have approved. The owner (I think) was exceptionally attentive and welcoming. He joked my husband was in the 1% club (only 1% actually finish their dinners). Such a cute place with very flavorful Italian comfort food. Would highly recommend. And skip the salad—you’ll run out of room.

Absolutely the best caprice we've ever had. We also split a baked rigatoni with meatballs. Along with the wonderful homemade bread, we were so full dessert was impossible. We would definitely return.

The food is absolutely amazing there service is just as amazing and the prices are just as amazing and the portions of food are huge. Will be definitely coming back no doubt

We were first time guests, and I can assure you that we will be back! It was a busy Saturday night and the service was absolutely impeccable, the timirof the amazingly delicious food was perfect, the ambiance was filled with good energy. I had a scallop special while the others in my group ordered from the menu, we were all beyond full and satisfied… then hubby decided to get this amazing flourless chocolate cake, he couldn’t finish the generous portions.
We are looking forward to coming back!

Best pizza and Italian food in the Winooski/Burlington area. Pizza and pasta are excellent. Service is always warm and friendly, the owner is a great guy and will treat you right, he is almost always there working to make sure the food you get is the best quality.

Incredible, fabulous Chicken Saltimbocca dish! Third time here and every visit has had my husband and I "trippin' the light fantastic" in amazing flavors, generous portions and friendly, gracious hospitality from everyone on the staff! Make it a point to check these folks out...you won't be sorry!!! 🍸❤

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! We ordered the walnut salad, two chicken parms (one with angel hair pasta), and a carbonara. Such delicious food, and we will definitely be coming back soon :-D

Good atmosphere and food. 5 stars for the mozzarella salad! It was excellent. The chicken parm was good also. Definitely recommend Jr's original.

The chicken wings Bolognese meat sauce and chicken Alfredo were amazing The bread they served was as fresh as it can get Do yourself a big favor and check this place out.

This restaurant is far beyond fantastic. Full bar and Italian food. The chicken Alfredo is the best Alfredo that I have EVER eaten in my life. I can't say enough about the quality of the service and the taste of their food. I will most definitely go back if given the opportunity!

We've been here a couple of times. Everything was fantastic. Portions are huge and leftovers are great. I highly recommend and look forward to taking family and friends there as well.

Small casual venue. Saturday evening, walked in and was seated right away by a very pleasant hostess. Menu was awesome making it difficult to choose. We had Cesar salad, Chicken piccata and Cannelloni with cream sauce. All we’re excellent and bountiful (we took leftovers home). Topped it off with a Cannoli that was sooo creamy and sweet. It was a nice treat during our travels across the country.

We were looking for a spot to have supper on our last night in Burlington and decided to give Jr's a try. We were NOT disappointed!! Our server was warm and welcoming. Our food choices were prepared well, arrived piping hot and were delicious! The restaurant was cozy. I highly recommend Jr's!!
