MAT Garage

This is probably the best place to park if you are going to see a show at Hartford Stage.

I'd park my car here but I want it back when I get here...

Only place I will park my pickup truck in Hartford.

Whatever they say about cash is probably bogus. No attendants on duty so if you run into trouble…good luck. Some of the card payment machines are sketchy (glitch).

With that said it’s super easy to get to from highway 84 and the spots are easy to park in. I timed the way out of the lot at 8 minutes right after a play ended. Not as bad as I thought!

Very confusing parking lot

No one is EVER in the church st booths and the machines always eat the tickets without letting out cars. They have an office that is locked with two signs with numbers on the door to call neither numbers are in service I have to wait and beep until someone in one of the MAT cars drives by and plead with them to let me out because I refuse to swipe my card multiple times because it will double charge!!! So so incredibly frustrating but I work nearby so I might just start calling the police every time I’m trapped and I can’t get out. Maybe that will get them to fix the machines

They are completely unprofessional. I payed for a monthly pass and they first thought they could charge my card whenever they felt like it because the girl would forget to charge my card and then turn around and charge it again like the next week because she forgot. They are money hungry and don’t care about you or your car. Finally I sent an email cancelling and they charged my card for an unauthorized amount. I only need parking for my work but I will have to find somewhere else. Would give zero stars!!!

Closes at 11pm and you can’t get your car.
