What a great place for breakfast! Everything was really delicious and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. Pancakes were super fluffy with fresh berries. Iced coffees were also good. Service was also friendly!

Over all great experience, food is exceptionally tasty.
Staff is not very organized food comes to the table at random times and they always at a hurry.
Portion sizes are small in some plates
But all is forgiven for the amazing taste

This is my first time here, after reading the reviews. When we arrived on Sunday around 1pm, it was packed and we had to wait for a table for 30mins. We r glad we did. The food was fresh and delicious! Speedy and wonderful service. We will definately be back to explore other items on the menu. Good job TCG!

Trumbull’s little breakfast gem. This place is busy but we manage to always get a seat (except on certain times on the weekend). Friendly staff. Quick service. Good food! Will keep on coming back. My go to here is their Avocado sourdough. My eldest had their waffle and chicken and finished it. My other kids love their crepes, waffles and pancakes. We mostly go here for breakfast or brunch but they serve a delightful lunch and dinner too.

This place is phenomenal! Food is delicious and gorgeous! They take the extra time to make everything fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The service is quick and friendly. The only con would be the size of the dining space in that you will probably have to wait for a table on weekends, but it usually does move quickly, so recommend staying for the wait.

Went back again and simply perfect as before! Added a pic of the breakfast baguette with ham, egg, cheese, spinach, and sweet jam! So good!

The food here is amazing. Everything. Even the things I've only seen, they look delicious. Our favorites are the Tijuana burrito and the cemita. Both have a creamy, spicy sauce

First time walking into to his restaurant, they have a nice vibe going for them. There’s outdoor seating as well. The staff was very friendly and instantly recognized us as new people in the neighborhood. Gotta love that! We hope to become regulars. Menu had a great selection and for a very busy morning we got excellent service. The portions were JUST right. Fruits on the waffles were fresh, they did add a bit of strawberry marmalade in the center. First place that I see serves their berry waffles that way, no problem for me but I know some people prefer syrup only, so just an FYI for you. I do see myself coming back here again specially because I want to try their Mexican dishes.

That was the experience for both myself and my daughter at Trumbull C&G. There aren't ​many places that I would happily drive an hour for brunch, but this is one of them. I honestly don't think I've had a breakfast this delicious and beautifully presented, and the fact that it came out of a standard looking diner where I was sitting for counter service made it all the more surprising. So many amazing flavors, fresh fresh ingredients, wonderful smoky salsa... I was honestly blown away. I can't wait to come back. Do yourself a flavor and check it out, and order one of the Mexican-inspired brunch choices. You wil​l NOT be disappointed.

Oh yeah, and there was a DeLorean parked out front.

Diner breakfasts are perhaps my favorite meal out, but also the one most prone to deep disappointment. It’s why my first breakfast order anywhere I go includes corned beef hash; easy to do right, even easier to screw it up.

TC&G got it right, in spades. Everything here is made from scratch or locally sourced, and it shows. The corned beef hash was on par with some of the best I’ve had. Homemade, perfectly cooked and crisped, not a drop of extra moisture. The eggs, over-easy, were a tad over-buttered, but with the massive crowd lasting nearly till lunch, a little bit of extra color on the white could be excused. Rounded off by stellar hash browns, again, good crisp, not too much moisture, this was the best breakfast I’ve had out in some time.

Call ahead, the place is tiny and busy, and while they don’t take reservations, at least you’ll know how long you’ll be waiting. I went on a Wednesday around 10 and it was packed. I imagine you’ll need to camp out Saturday night for a Sunday morning seat. Totally worth it.

This was my first time in the new location. Between music and decor, they opted to go very modern. May not be the ambiance I'm looking for during breakfast but easily forgiven by the amazing food and attentive staff. This will be my new breakfast spot along with Mariana's Kitchen.

Amazing food. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Had the Tres Leches French toast, so good, and the coffee was delicious!

My mom's been talking this place up a bunch, so we finally went for brunch.
I got the Tres Leches French Toast, and a fruit salad. She got the Belgian waffle.

The presentations are obviously very lovely. I had actually seen the woman next to me eating her meal with the fruit salad, so I had to get it. The fruit was extremely fresh, perfectly ripe, and there was more in the bowl than I had initially thought. The French toast, which I had expected to be heavy, was light, crispy on the edges, and delicious.

My mom said her waffle was also very light and tasty.

The staff are friendly and attentive, the place is very nicely done. There are plenty of tables, plus a counter, and a couple of places outside to eat.
Absolutely coming back asap.

This is a great little place. I wish they opened at 6 rather than 7. I would go more frequently. I love that they have a weekend menu with different options too.

We just went there for breakfast. The food was beautifully presented and different (better) than the usual restaurant breakfast. If I had more of an appetite I would have liked to try multiple menu items.

Fantastic place for breakfast we had the French toast. It was beautifully presented and tasted divinely.

This was my first time going to this restaurant. It's not very big and there was a bit of wait, as they were quite busy. However, it was well worth it. The food, quality, and presentation were absolutely amazing. My boyfriend got the regular Benedict with a side of their delicious homemade hash, which he loved. And I got the trese Leche French toast, which I'd give a 5-star rating to. Great coffee, too! We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food served with a smile. In a new location that is not marked next to Rings End. Hopefully owners will update the website as I almost left and I would have missed out on a great meal

This place is great. Pancakes were divine! And coffee is delicious! And there is out door seating.
