Let's go. My baby brother and I had lunch. The food was awesome it was cold and windy on Friday, so a bowl of soup was Def needed. My favorite of all time is Cream of Broccoli with a side of croutons. They serve their soup with a side of crusty French bread. The soup was amazing. The calamari was cooked to perfection. The chicken was crispy, we had fries too, and they were good as well. Our waitress Audrey was phenomenal. Very sweet, funny, and attentive. It's giving a cheer vibe when you walk in. It's going to be great in the summer with the outside seating. Go check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Stumbled into a local gem. Staff very friendly and professional. Service was excellent. We ordered Mussels and Fish and Chips; both were delicious.

Loved this place! We ordered fried calamari (highly recommend it with JIM'S Way sauce), small cheese pizza with mushroom and linguini with whole clams and white sauce. Food and the beer (Wrench by Industrial Arts Brewing Company) were delicious! The staff was also terrific! Very engaging and warm! I look forward to going back and try the muscles and escargot!

I really enjoyed this place. Great staff, great setting and great food. Calamari appetizer was quite fresh. They have a decent beer selection too. My wife had the fish and chips which she enjoyed. I ordered the chicken parm grinder which is what I always order when trying a new place...I was served a meatball grinder. But it was about the best meatball grinder I can remember having. 11/10 I would get the meatball grinder again.

We enjoyed eating outdoors on a nice summer night. There was a bit of road noise and no view of the water but the music was nice and there is a choice between high top, regular and stools all outside.

The staff was nice and attentive to the table. There was a bit of a mishap with my meal but they did the best they could to make it right. I only with they told me before my meal came out.

I loved the salmon meal! The salmon was tender and juicy and the cream sauce with the veggie combo was the perfect pairing. I only with I got the rice that was listed. I did get to try the onion rings in place of the rice and they were so thick and nicely breaded. They were the best and biggest onion rings I have ever had!

The New England clam chowder was more of a Manhattan style with its red sauce base but it was unique with good flavor.

The portions except for the cheese pizza were large. The fish sandwich and the fish plate both had about the same large quantity of fish.

The menu was large and had lots of options. It was a bit different than what was posted online but it looked like there were some nightly specials. I did really want to try the tacos. All in all, I would go back again just for the onion rings and salmon.

First time here and exceed my expectations, cozy place, very friendly service, really good deals for happy hour (drinks and food), we ordered wings, fresh chicken and great mango habanero sauce, I love milanese and I saw that was the special for today, we were surprised when saw a enormous portion with incredible taste. I really wanna come back soon!

The Philly cheese steak grinder was one of the best I ever had!!! Nachos with chili were delicious too. Prompt and courteous wait staff.

Have been wanting to eat here for a while. Finally got the opportunity and so happy we did because everything was delicious. The espresso martini, the calamari Jim's way, the lobster mac n cheese and old bay seasoned wings...YUMMMM!

No matter what I order on the menu every time I come here it's very good a lot of food that I have to take home

My husband and I were looking for a new place with outside dining in our area. I looked up this restaurant and it had lovely reviews. I just want to say that the outside seating is great. The owner and our waitress Megan couldn’t t have been more wonderful and accommodating in ANY WAY. My husband is elderly and walks with a cane. He was helped out of his chair, into the restaurant to go to the Mens room and then the owner saw me waiting in the car for him , came out and said he was by the back ramp (which he helped him down) and did I want him to drive my car over there to get him! Seriously how wonderful are these people? And P.S. THE FOOD WAS GREAT!
The pizza delicious and my husbands clam chowder the same. What a find. We will be back.

One of the best places you will ever eat at

Very good seafood. The twisted clam chowder is a must have! Also got pizza to go; very good!

Food is awesome!!! I ordered the fish sandwich and steamers, the fillet was huge and freshly battered! The steamers came in a garlic sauce with fresh Italian bread for dipping. They have a very nice drink selection as well. Highly recommend, especially for the prices!

This place deserves 10 stars. It's a small place, so sometimes there's a wait, but the wait is worth every minute. The waitstaff and bartenders are outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Let's get to the best part; the food. I have had every appetizer on the menu, each is 110%. My favorite is the clams casino -best I've ever had. Of all the entrees I've had the fish tacos, cheeseburgers and broccoli rabe & sausage are my favorites. My friends all enjoyed everything they had, too, no complaints. We all agreed it was some of the best food we've had. Try it once, you'll be back!

Had the mussels appetizer, and the portion was very generous. Very nice little red sauce, and toast to soak it up! Very good, will order again! Three of us were there, and my cousin's and step mom's take out was literally almost half their meals. I had a spinach salad which was piled high with bacon and gorgonzola. The fresh house- made dressing was great. Would like to try the Lobster Cobb next time. Will return this summer for sure.

Exceeded my expectations! I had the fish and chips it was very good and very large portion. I will be back.

Food and drinks are really good service was great

I have been to Big Jim's Galley a few times and I have to say they have very good service. They have an awesome cheese steak sandwich, as well as the chicken Pesto. The pizza is very good. It's a small place so if you want to sit outside you might want to arrive a little early. If you live in the Stratford area and would like to support small business. This would be awesome place to have dinner or just some apps and drinks.

Everyone was so nice, the food was fresh and delicious and made to order and didn't wince at a special request! Was beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Would definitely go back again!
