Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

It’s about 10-15 minute walk from the Fairfield Metro, Metro north train station. Same menu as the other Frank Pepe locations. Had a small clam pie that was really good, ate the whole thing myself but it’s enough for 2 people. Got a table as soon as I walked in around 1 pm, But within a 1/2 hour all the tables were full. Staff were great. Will stop here again.

This was my first time dinning in but I have been visiting this location for takeout for years. It is very convenient to get to off 95 north or south. Frank Pepe’s never disappoints but the pizza isn’t always cooked as much as we would like. Despite the char the middle can still be doughy. I find this especially on the margarita and white clam pies do to the extra soupy nature if those particular styles.
I love a good white clam Pepe’s pie. It is one of my favorites.
This visit we decided to get a salad with side of anchovies. Salad was good but could have used some more dressing but adding parmigiana helped.
The anchovies were a good addition.
The Pepperoni and Hot Cherry pepper pie was great. We love the way the Pepe’s crisps the meat toppings on their pizzas. Yum
The atmosphere was a bit cramped and busy but waitress service was very good.
All in all I think the OG New Haven location may be best when it comes to consistency. But Pepe’s pizza remains among my favorites anywhere.

New Haven is known for its pizza and Frank Pepe’s is one of the best in my opinion. Crust and dough are always cooked perfectly—never undercooked. Ingredients are always fresh and the mozzarella tastes like it is straight from Italy. The best thing about this location is the location. Plenty of parking and no need to wait in line to get in like you have to at the New Haven restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly and the host is awesome.

We ordered the white clams specialty, pepperoni and cheese pizzas. All were delicious. Pepe’s does truly serve the best pizza in CT.

Frank Pepe's is a pizza place I keep going back to on my journey to find the best pizza around. So far it hasn't been beat.

Amazing food. Nice atmosphere and always friendly staff. Spinach, mushroom, gorgonzola is my personal favorite but all of the flavors are Delicious.

What a great experience! (Note: not the Original Frank Pepe's in New Haven, CT) We were super excited to stop and experience this Legendary Pizza! The ovens are amazing and produced one on my favorite pizza ever. It was so good! Highly recommended. Definitely worth the stop. Can't wait to drive near again.

New Haven native here. Usually the pizza gets worse the farther you travel from Wooster Street, Pepe’s locations included. I’ve tried some of the other Pepe’s (Maryland, etc) and they are reasonable facsimiles of New Haven, but either under or over cooked, or two chewy/thick, etc. The Danbury location is a surprising exception to that rule.

The pizza here is indistinguishable from Frank Pepe’s on Wooster Street, only with shorter lines. Get a Foxon Park White Birch Beer for the perfect taste of New Haven.

Was in town on a road trip and stopped for lunch. Some of the best pizza I've had hands down. The clam pizza was what we went with. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Stopped here on the way back to NH. What a cool place. I've never seen a pizza oven this big. It was coal fired and had to be 15'deep. They had the longest wooden spatula for putting the pies in the oven I've ever seen.
Service was great. And the pizza was very tasty. I'd go back here if I'm in the area for sure.

Nothing beats Frank Pepe’s. I’ve lived in CT for most of my life and this pizza has never lost its magic. Being able to see the staff working on the pizzas made everything feel that much more special.

The char on the pizzas is beautiful and perfectly executed. The edges have a nice crisp to them without tasting burnt. The sauce is wonderfully balanced in flavors. Try as many as you can handle!

We've seen Frank Pepe's on Food Network and friends have highly recommended it. Now I'm one that's strongly recommending it! I've been all over the country and this is hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The service was great as well! If you're ever in the area, this is a MUST try! Parking is pretty limited, but that's to be expected with pizza of this level.

My mom and I were in CT visiting from Nashville and were craving traditional Northern thin sliced pizza, so our family brought us here. We ordered a medium white shrimp pie, and two large pies (cheese and bacon), we ordered them all well done because that’s how we like it. It was the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. The crust was delicious, the tomato sauce wasn’t too loose or too thick, it was perfect. The service was great and I appreciate the small concise menu. Highly recommend this place!

Love Pepe's Pizza, one of my favorite pizza joints. I've gotten dine in and take out and love the experience. The pizza is really good, but you better like your pizza in different shapes. They cut the pizza a little weird but I do like that aspect.

There is plenty of seating inside and the servers are nice. Pizza is better as dine in but if you heat it up in the oven at home it still is very good.

This Fairfield, CT location is really a great way to experience the Frank Pepe’s style pizza. The one in New Haven (while the original) can be overwhelming with huge lines and no space to eat. This location made the pizza quickly and it was perfect. Also lots of room to eat inside.

Classic pizza place serving one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've ever had. Easy on/ off highway 95 ( exit#25) for this location.

Pepperoni cheese pizza. So delicious! Thin and crispy. Pizza cooked in coal fired oven. Staff super friendly - - being our first time there they invited us to watch their operation. They were super busy upon opening. We dined in and watched the nonstop flow of people for both dine in and take out. As busy as it was they were very organized. A must stop pizza place.. You won't be dissapointed. We dined at the Franklin, CT location

I didn't want to take a star away. I went in after doing an online order to pick up. The gentleman at the counter asked me my name and said maybe 5 minutes. I ended up waiting 20 until a very nice lady that couldn't believe I was still waiting asked me my name and my pizza had been sitting waiting the entire time.
