I have to give a rave review for my last minute silk press that came out phenomenal. First & foremost, I had to book last minute due to my hairstylist canceling on me at the last minute and I was able to book a same day appointment online through the site prior to the salon opening. This same day appointment was the day before my birthday & I was even able to squeeze in a dye & trim to my appointment. The owner Danielle started my hair that morning immediately when I came inside. Even with all her staff being off, with the except of her assistant helping for an hour, she managed to take great care of me. The cherry on top was her going the extra mile to provide me detailed education tailored to my haircare & provided recommendations about proper maintenance of my hair follicles going forward. I was more than satisfied with the my wash, deep conditioning, permanent dye, trim, and silk press with curls. Today officially marks 3 full weeks that I’ve had my silk press & through all the unexpected rain & self protection on my end, I can fully attest that my hair is still holding up! I still receive compliments! 😊
My 1 hour commute was indeed worth it and I highly recommend Posh beauty Bar! 💜

I had an amazing experience at The Posh Beauty Bar! I first saw their work on a client's social media page for her wedding day. I did not care that I had to travel to CT from NJ for one of their units. I arrived for my appointment, was tended to right away and shared wonderful woman banter as you should in the salon. It was my first time at this salon (referred by a friend) and I was quite impressed. Everyone was very welcoming. It was a clean, comfortable, decorative space with a great choice of music. I received a silk press and I am so happy with how my hair looks and feels. I started my natural hair journey three years ago and today was the first time I had my coils straightened and trimmed. I was a bit worried about how much would need to be trimmed (since I was LONG overdue) but the owner/stylist put my mind at ease and did a fabulous job with the trim and overall styling. She said my hair was “screaming for joy” once she finished the trim and the split ends were gone (LOL) and I couldn’t agree more. She was very kind and professional. I will definitely be back! :)

Posh is a great salon — clean, conveniently located and the stylists are all very friendly. Danielle is a professional, very easy going and always honest about what I can do to improve the health and quality of my hair. I have been a loyal customer for nearly 5 years and I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes upon entering the shop for my scheduled appointment. One of the best hair salons I’ve ever been too. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating. It was worth the drive into Bridgeport and was easy to find, right off 8 on Main Street. They have other services such as a Nail Salon and Body massages which I’ll absolutely be back for. I would recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a creative and high end hair salon.

If you want the best service... best hair style.... Go here! the stylists are very friendly. Plus it's affordable. I got my hair permed, cut and styled with tracks.... the stylist gave me great advice... they won me over. I will definitely be going back here! Wish I could give 10 stars..lol...

I love the ambiance, the service and the professionalism. I travel 2 hours to get my hair done and I am never disappointed. Everyone here is skillful and understanding. Plus, my edges never fall out with them and although I get weaves they treat my hair.

Went with my baby sis few months ago...for a silkpress... I'm a nurse and work a ton of hours and not much tlc goes to my hair but my hair is still managable. It was fun and clean, we enjoyed our time there. I just wish they're open on sundays so i could have my hair done for my bday tomorrow.

Finally found a hair salon that I’m comfortable and can talk to where they understand and satisfies my needs ! I loved my silk press ! Very affordable and workers are very friendly and great at what they do. LADIES YALL NEED TO CHECK IN ASAP !!!!!

I just got my eyelash extensions done by Lynn and I am so happy right now! The extensions look very natural and everyone at the salon was friendly and accommodating!
