Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant & Cantina

Went recently and the food and service were great! I used to come here 10 years ago when I worked in the area so it's nice to know it's still a great place! My favorite is the Chile Colorado. It was served pretty fast. The starter tortilla chips are great, and I highly recommend for dessert the apple burrito!

We came here on a Sunday evening, it was a nice ambiance, we sat over at the tables but they do have a bar area. Very cozy place, waitress was very nice and please be patient because it does seem like they are understaffed.

For starters, we ordered steak quesadillas and they were incredible, I would’ve liked a little more steak but that’s just be being greedy. It was served with the house guac and sour cream. We were also given a good amount of chips and salsa.

The main courses were amazing. I ordered the Tres Amigos. Everything was great and the refried beans were boooomb. My wife ordered this combo plate with steak and shrimp, that came with different sides and a container of warm tortillas.

Now the drinks… A1!! I ordered the $10 Mango Frozen Margarita and my wife got the strawberry…. INCREDIBLE. Will be back just for the drinks over at the bar. If you’re in the area or just moving to it, come here and enjoy your night with yourself or loved ones. You won’t regret it.

Update: Guacamole is greaaaat. They used some type of corn flake outer shell for the fried ice cream, not sure if I liked it too much. It did come with these really good tortilla chip like chips and that was great. Burrito was solid. No complaints there.

i have been going since i was a-little girl, with my family. I’ve always stuck to getting what i know. Overall, i absolutely love the rice and the food. I always get extra rice. i love the staff and totally recommend it to anyone in the area, BUT the portions have gotten way smaller - way smaller over the years and a lot of new staff.

The food was great as always, not a disappointment at all. The waiter is also very courteous and friendly.

Food is so so delicious and really inexpensive for how much you get! Great service and lovely ambience and they even have vegan options (if you omit the cheese and sour cream)! 👍

Head bartender is great and head waitress is awesome! They make a great team. Always a wonderful time! We never leave disappointed. Great service, and great food.

I love this place when I need my Mexican food fix. I had a combo which included a chicken burrito and a Chile relleno, which was delicious. My brother had a chimichanga and he said it was very good. The only thing I didn't care for was the salsa for the chips. That was bland.

Acapulco's is my go to place when I crave Mexican! Always delicious & service is top notch. The ambiance is authentic & the outdoor seating is also enjoyable when the weather is nice. I had Pacifico Chimichangas-YUM- & Churros for dessert- the strawberry & chocolate dipping sauce was a nice touch!

I was supposed to go to two other restaurants but they were packed so I ended up here and I’m so happy I did because I had THE BEST chimichanga I’ve ever had in my life. You need to go there and get the Pacifico chimichanga. Life changing. Amazing. 10 outta 10. I’m literally gonna go back tomorrow.

Great drinks, profoundly new (to me) local bar. The staff are attentive and the drinks are on point. Hidden gem, I was accompanied by a strawberry margarita with don julio blanco and I’m on a roll! Lol no just kidding but serious don’t drink and drive, enjoy!!

Delicious queso dip! And the acapulco burrito was delish. Guacamole was nice and limey. Our waitress was super nice. Will def come back again.

I loved this place, the hostess and waitress were amazing. The food here was great and reminded me of my home in mexico, the guacamole was to die for. Chile con Queso was my favorite. Definitely recommend the chicken tenders if you’re more picky, my son loved them. The sodas were great, they were not watered down like in other places and there was a nice bar me and my husband NEED to go to next time. Definitely recommend 10/10 .

It's old world charm and friendly servers are a wonderful extra besides the great tasting food. We love to eat there and spend a few hours chatting. They have the space so you can stay as long as you like.

Been going for 15, probably more, some odd years. Always reliable food, service and margaritas. Lunch or dinner and I always leave satisfied. Never left with unhappy. Regardless if I have fajitas, enchiladas or like today....empanadas and fajitas with my son. My go to when it town now and can't depart without getting my fix satisfied.

Alcapulcos is one of my absolute favorite local places for a girl's night out. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are even better.

The chips and salsa are fresh and on your table as soon as you take a seat, and service is exceptional & always with a smile. I have yet to be dissapointed in the many years I have been coming here.

My favorite place to go at the moment. Unlimited chips and salsa but the salsa is thin in consistency but good. I dont know what this is called but here's a pic!

Great Mexican food. I typically get Enchiladas Jalisco or Fajitas, and often a Blue Moonlight margarita. They were happy to substitute chicken for beef, and black beans instead of refried beans. Complimentary chips and salsa. Warm, friendly atmosphere, fast service, attentive wait staff. Staff and customers merrily join in to sing happy birthday. It's really a wonderful experience.
