I love getting my hair done here. Charity takes the time to talk through big changes I want to make, from first time highlights to drastic chops. She makes sure I leave the salon beautiful and confident, and is always a pleasure to chat with.

I am a regular at this salon and could not be happier with the service I have received. Charity always colors and cuts my hair perfectly, and she is super accommodating with my busy schedule. I strongly recommend going to see her!

I tried to box-dye my roots before a high school reunion and it went....well...it was an absolute disaster. I was on a tight schedule because the reunion was the next day, but Victoria at Salon 1560 fit me in and not only fixed my atrocious hair, but made me look GREAT. Since that utter SAVE, I've been getting my roots, cuts, and highlights with either Victoria or Charity. They really listen to what the customer wants and care about you leaving feeling confident and great about yourself!

Let me start by saying, I have not let anyone cut my hair for more than 15 years. I've never really trusted anyone to alter my appearance and always thought I may as well save a buck and do it myself, (no one really notices all those wonky bangs and bad dye decisions, right?). Alas, all the home dying, kitchen scissor and razor cuts brought me to the liberating decision to shave my head. It's funny, I never felt any anxiety about shaving my head. The hair came off easy and it was really liberating. The anxiety came later, once I had enough hair grow back. Who did I want to be? What's next? I took a chance on Salon 1560 and it has changed my perspective. Hair-care is Self-care. Walking into the salon, it's clear this is a cherished space full of staff who love what they do. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and personal. Charity put me instantly at ease, gently asking all the right questions to help me come to a decision with a professional grace that I haven't encountered elsewhere. Our conversation allowed me to let myself fully enjoy my appointment. I had forgotten what it felt like to be pampered and it felt so good to let go. By the time I came out from under the blow dryer, my confidence had been renewed in a way I hadn't thought possible. My cut and color was supreme. I looked in the mirror and thought, "This is the person I've always wanted to be. This is the person I am." It was shocking to realize what a great haircut can do. Charity is a master at her craft. She gave me detailed instructions on how to maintain my color, recommending shampoo and conditioner. It's been 6 months since my last appointment, only because I've never had a short haircut that didn't end up growing out into a mullet. Charity achieved the impossible, my grown out cut still looks like I've just got it styled. I'm so thoroughly impressed with her skills, it really is magic. I'm never letting anyone else touch my hair. (especially myself!) I'm excited for another appointment to play with my new length. I work at Newtown MediSpa on post road. Today on my lunch break I decided I wanted a wash and blow dry.. I googled salons near me.. and Salon 1650 came up. I’m so glad it did. I walked right across the street and Charity greeted me at the door. She was knowledgeable, professional, and gave me an amazing hair treatment and blow dry! I was so happy with the outcome. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend everyone else try’s them also!

I haven’t let any other salon touch my hair since starting at Salon 1560. Their stylists are brilliant with styling, cuts, and most especially color (the kind of color that people stop you on the street to ask where you had it done).

All of my experiences there have consistently been 5/5 — their talent, cleanliness, attention to detail, and, most impressively, the individual rapport each stylist builds with her clients keeps me coming back. I can go there and ask them to take the wheel or I can go in with an idea and see it come to life or anything in between — either way, Salon 1560 makes it happen.

Charity is a hair magician. I travel over an hour each way every couple of months so she can work her magic! I get so many compliments on the color of blonde she uses on me and it’s always pleasure chatting with her as well
