Stratford Baptist Church

The friendly church on the Green. So far the best church I have attended in Fairfield county. Multi-racial, contemporary service that accommodates the old and the young. There is room for everyone.

I am a saved Christian wanting to pray study scripture and work on my behavior according to what the Bible says, I take God's word very seriously, not in an organized religious way where I want to control accuse and condemn. In James in the King James Bible it states clearly about faith and actions. Kindness is important to be a true christian. I have been struggling to find a Bible based church in Stratford. I have been to the pantry and I have not felt welcomed by the church clergy, not at all. It's not a good God fearing place place if the clergy are not kind and welcoming and not having the members or new members in there feel welcomed. The holy ghost does not indwell a place that does not at least practice what the Bible says, now no one is perfect of course but is a lot to ask for the church clergy to make an effort be kind to the member? It states clearly the Lord blesses us when we do things like that. I hope I find a good church it's been very difficult. God bless

The only time someone spoke two words to us was during the shaking hands portion of the service and it's just because they were told to. And no Nursery means our two-year-old had to sit with us through the service and cause lots of noise.
