Stratford Sea Wall

Love the seawall. I went on the day when town had Halloween parade for the kids. Many kids in wonderful costumes and saw many kids walking on the seawall. There is a 2-hour parking limit closely monitored by the local police. Since my visit was way in late fall, parking was easily available. Wall provides wonderful photo opportunities, and you can sit and relax for some time or walk on the beach. I saw many local dogs bathing in the sea since they may have been coming regularly. I am sure this place must be crowded in the summertime.

It’s a nice walk along the beach. Quiet and peaceful. The day I went on there was a nice breeze and not a lot of people. The walk consists of lots of seashells.

It's a beautiful spot to hang out, take photos, smell the ocean air, eat good food (Riley's), and have an awesome beach day. The area is very residential otherwise. Great to walk your dog, go for a walk or run. In fact I was last there doing a 5/10mile race put on by hiteckracing.com ... I've gone for walks there with my nephew, such a great area. The seawall itself is just a fun place to be and people watch.

Love the seawall. I come here often to walk along the beach. Memorial day - labor day a lot of parking spaces are for residents, others are 2 hour parking and I have seen police monitor parking when it's crowded. Also, the beach itself is mostly for residents with a small area for everyone else. There are no lifeguards. The beach itself is very rocky but does have some sandy spots.

Such a peaceful place to go enjoy the sound of the ocean, and grab something to eat.

Excellent place to relax on a cool summer evening to watch the sunset and take in the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Simply breathtaking.

I grew up in Stratford and the sea wall is the perfect spot to walk, relax, or grab a bite to eat. If you love storms, I highly recommend going during a thunderstorm to watch the lighting across Ling Island Sound

Quiet place to sit, listen to the waves, and reflect. Plenty of parking.

Here at times never leaving your vehicle for front row seats puts you on top of a panoramic view of the Sound and Long Island. The wall will invite you to sit and walk her, with local Dining available the experience is a GO!

A good place to park and relax, let the oceans tide take all your stress out to sea. One of my favorite places in the world. Plus love planes and flying so the Sikorski airport isn't a bother!
