The omelette we had was absolutely amazing and huge! The ingredients were fresh, home fries were seasoned well and the toast they use was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone wanting a large breakfast that is made to perfection.

I've been coming to alegros going on 20 years. They are the most funny kind hearted people you can ever know. I consider them my extended family not friends but family. They also have a warm welcome and talk with you during your stay and make sure you are satisfied and happy.

Hole in the wall. Food hit me so hard I took a nap after. Home fries, omellete, pancakes, everything was top notch.

Love they're breakfast they're servings are big they're definitely not stingy wish they had whip cream so I can try they're pancakes but can't complain at all ❤❤ took my boys and they love it too

Wow! What a meal! I ordered breakfast and I got breakfast, lunch and dinner! The value is amazing and everything I ordered tasted delicious. The sausage, home fries, and French toast were great!

Great little diner. Great service. Very good coffee. Eggs (OM) and bacon were excellent. Potatoes are not on my diet bit the taste I had they were delicious.

And I have never written about toast before in my life, but it was toasted Italian bread. Totally off my low carb diet, but o man it was good.

Hearty breakfast, great service, old school. This little niche in the wall is a go to for breakfast on Hartfords South end. This last visit I did a steak, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich (on toast) can you say yum yum yummers!!! I've also enjoyed pancakes (sooo good!) And omelets with fresh hash browns and toast. This was my 2nd visit and I'm pretty sure far from my last. Make sure to BRING CASH...no CC/DC machine. I told you...#oldschool. Tell em Kitty sent you 😘

Where the coffee is allows fresh hot, the grill is always full of great foods cooking, where the people here are always very nice and giving. Thank Paul, John and Cynthia for maintaining such an experience most restaurants wish they had.

We were so hungry that we forgot to take pics but OMG.... the service and the food are at a 100% awesomeness perfect portion size to eat in and take out for a great price. 👌 highly recommended

This is my favorite place to go in Hartford. We only come to Hartford once a year for the Dragonboat festival and this is always a stop for us to grab breakfast. Great food, great service, great prices. I couldn't ask for more.

Their portions are huge so be careful if you don't tend to eat a lot. They also put a lot of butter on the toast, so be sure to ask for less or on the side if you're not into that.
