The Main Pub

We went during the happy hour and it was wonderful. We were seated immediately and the owners and server often stopped to check in on us. The food did come fast and it was good and warm.

Went there last night and had a great time. They had an awesome live band playing. There was an entertainment fee on the band side of the bar which was a little strange but still worth it. Our server was fantastic and provided great service. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was straight fire 🔥 huge piece of chicken, nice and crunchy and juicy and perfect level of heat. Also their fries were bomb too. Definitely will be back.

The wife and I wanted to try somewhere different to go out for dinner and we ended up here. We were both very happy with our decision as the staff here was friendly and the food was fantastic.
We shared the Chili Nachos. Everything seemed very fresh and well layered. I also had Fried Chicken and Waffles, while she enjoyed the Spinach Salad - both of which were delightful. We took home a slice of Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert. It too was good.
They have lots of great beer choices too. I had a Yuengling, and she had Blue Paw from the Sea Dog Brewing Company. We were both happy with our selections.
If you are so inclined, they have musical acts inside at times. There is an associated fee with this if you’re seated inside in this area. We didn’t do this, we ended up dining outside on the patio so we could enjoy the weather.
We will definitely be going here again. They have so many great sounding menu items…
There is plenty of parking in the rear.
If they are extremely busy, as was the case during our last visit, there is parking on the street close by.

I always enjoy going here. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and fun. The staff is friendly and the service is really good. This is the type of place to go for happy hour, or a business meal. Yet it's also great for a casual date night. As well as a way to grab drinks and a quick bite after evening functions. All around just a good time. There is a reason this place has been around for as long as they have. And if you are looking for a local spot to go, I highly recommend the main pub.

I really like this place. Alyssa the bartender guided my experience, recommended my food and cocktail and told me all about The Main Pub. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays and Wednesdays, trivia on Thursdays. Atmosphere is great. It's the oldest family owned restaurant in Manchester and it's definitely a local hangout. Come for the vibes, excellent service, and fries. No joke, the fries are perfect. "Halfway between a potato chip and a steak fry" to quote my bartender. The only thing y'all need is like, a specialty ketchup. Maybe a Curry Ketchup or something similar to really make it stand out. A fry this good needs a specialty sauce just as good. Thanks for the hospitality!

Came for my brother and my birthday. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was fun. Such a great time and they had a live band later on . I got the chicken and waffle which had a nice kick and my wife got the blackened chicken mac and cheese

Stopped here for lunch. They have a beautiful patio with a view of main street. The inside is beautiful with wood and brick. Had the pretzel, burger and wings. All were very good but the beer cheese and maple mustard dipping sauces were the star. Will definitely be back for happy hour.

We arrived without a reservation on Mother's Day. Initially told we had a 45 minute wait. We had our 10 week old baby in tow and he had just fallen asleep so we planned to wait it out. A gentleman who seemed to be in charge of things found a way to accomodate us and sat us down sooner. We didnt ask; he went out of his way for us. We really appreciated it! I didn't get his name. Sam, our server, was great! The food was good and the beer was cold. Great 1st time experience. Thanks again!

Oh man, I've been looking at this place for a while. Looked expensive, looked classy. Went in, ordered drinks and food. Though the food did take a minute, it was a busy night. Jeffrey, their resident piano man, kept up the serenade until that point. The food itself, I had the home style wings, which were great, the spices were baked in, becoming a delicious crust, kind of like breading. Beer was alright, but if you're a big beer guy, they're like session beers.

8.24.23 Cute venue with beautiful flowers and lights set up outdoors. Very friendly greeter and staff. Food and drinks came out fast. Menu had good selection from Mac n cheese to Fish & Chips. 9.17.23 Visited a 2nd time and this time Sat outdoors by the fireplace and it was an absolutely beautiful night. The hummus platter was fresh and all the veggies were hopped up finely, perfect. The Rancehro burger was juicy and cooked just right. The peanutbutter pie was perfection.

Amazing fish tacos, highly recommend them. Very friendly service, was visiting with a friend and we weren't rushed out as we sat and gabbed. Really nice place, and I look forward to going back, especially when the outside patio is open.

Came in for a quick bite after work. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted with a hello and a warm smile from the bartender. I ordered the BLT sandwich with the Mac and cheese and one of their cocktails. The drink was well made and the food came out fresh and delicious. Totally recommend.

The food and the service was good. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Food was warm and came out quickly. Environment was a little loud but the place was packed so that's a good sign. Definitely will be coming here again.

Had a great lunch with my significant other. She was impressed as well. The fries are fantastic. Great place to grab food and a drink highly recommend.

Had a great lunch on the patio, which is one of the best outdoor spaces in town. Lots of seating, lots of umbrellas, outlets to plug in a computer or charger, and a firepit. My Reuben was overflowing with fillings, bread was perfectly grilled. Definitely try the pub chips, I recommend with ranch! My gin/cucumber drink was light and refreshing. They have regular evening events -- trivia, live music, etc. I would highly recommend!

The food here is good and so is the atmosphere. They have live music occasionally, too. Great place for a pub style dinner.

The first time here went to see a band Mauve LLoyd. Great show!!!!
Had dinner, too. The service was great. The place was packed, and our waiter kept up with checking on us or getting refills.. checking in to get seated as we had reservations was easy, and even though it was busy, the hostess was kind and attentive to our needs.
Want to thank all the staff for doing a great job all around. Looking forward to going back.

We stopped in after a few hours of brewery hopping and we were definitely not disappointed. The food was excellent and they had several local craft brews to select from. I chose the ultimate BLT and it was great - tho I think my favorite item on the plate was the fries/chips. Also had the Rueben kegs which didn't disappoint.

Come for the BLT and the chicken and waffle. Stay (and come back again) for the pub fries. Legitimately the best I’ve ever had. Killer spot.
