Hide Out Café

Dining here was honestly a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was delightful, the staff, especially our server, were so friendly, and the food was not only delicious but adorable too! They had a quirky but wonderful playlist going inside, and they had the option of outside seating as well. This is immediately one of my new favorite spots to dine, purchase boba (which was the best I've ever had), and hang out with friends and loved ones. You can guarantee I will be coming back again and again!

Super cute cafe in Rowland Heights worth checking out. Feels industrial yet cozy. Fun, vibrant atmosphere. Good food and drinks, decent prices. Happy and helpful staff. Fast WiFi, which is a plus! Didn’t see any outlets—wouldn’t be a great place to work considering how busy it gets on the weekends. Seating is limited so I recommend signing up for the waitlist online or sitting outside (which gets hot and muggy in the summer). Would recommend and definitely come back.

Absolutely love this place! The vibes are immaculate and the customer service was amazing and everything came out quickly. I could tell everything was made with care and effort. I got the osmanthus latte and it was delicious! Perfectly balanced bitter and sweet. The house made cookies paired nicely with this drink. I will be back!

We were a party of 4 that arrived at about 2pm on a Sunday. We waited for 30ish min to be seated. Our party was the last ones to order their "boba bear set" soo keep in mind that they do run out. Food was good and the staff was super friendly.

Yes the hype is for reals! Reason I think there's good reviews is that they actually offer an assortment of food...not the typical frozen type desserts or generic food that others offer.

Cute Cafe...nice ambiance, great food, and the teas and lattes are so awesome! The food was also great. I love everything. The place is clean, fast, and great customer service. Came Sunday afternoon which wasn't too busy.

I’ve been here way too many times. Not only are there many options for both food and drink, the quality is also top notch. Really enjoy coming here just to have a quick bite or talk to friends. Service are also great, always so friendly.

Finally!!!! After so many times of making plans to come out to check this place out and not being able to make it, I finally did.

First of all the location is in a plaza of restaurants and little shops but mainly restaurants. There's plenty of parking as the parking lot is big. I was able to get a parking right away upon arriving. As soon as I got to the Cafe I signed up for the waiting list. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated.

Service was good, one of the staff members approached me and did mentioned that we would be called as soon as our table was ready. Once we were seated our server gave us a few mins to go over our menu. He did take our drinks order right away as we were ready for it. We had the Boba Bear set, which honestly I came just for that :D Our order was taken and our server was friendly and would check we were okay.

Food wise, our order consisted of the #Hash-tag waffle fries which included waffle cut fries topped with cheddar cheese, minced pork and a sunny side up egg. Flavor wise, I really liked it but I did feel the taste of the minced pork was too overpowering on the fries. Our next dish was the mild popcorn chicken, this one we all enjoyed. The next one was the Bbq Pork Belly w/rice and salad; this one consists of pork belly with a house-made bbq sauce topped with a sunny side up egg. Another similar came out but with out the sunny side up egg as my son does not like his egg like that. The pork belly was nice and tender and the salad's dressing had a unique taste, delicious though. For dessert! We did Coco Waffle which had a belgian waffle with double chocolate waffle which made a delicious Coco waffle served with some yummy ice cream with pecan pieces. I do have to mention that the serving size is very generous and can feed 4 ppl lol. I did order also the Blueberry Waffle for my parents as it is not too sweet for them.

Again I am extremely happy with our visit, our experience! I definitely recommend anyone to come out. It's such a cute place with delicious and yummy food. Just don't forget to take a photo with the bear at the entrance on your way out!

I've had the pleasure of visiting HideOut cafe on a Saturday morning for brunch with my friends, I'm very impressed with the items they have on their menu. I got the avocado toast and a Latte. It's so hard to get good coffee now a days, but HideOut does it right. I've been paying attention to how they pull their espresso and all their baristas are doing it wonderfully.

Avocado toast was awesome the amount of avocado on the toast was thick and well seasoned. They top it off with just the right amount of cojita cheese and I think it complements the avocado mix super well. The toast does come with a sunny side up egg on it and can be eaten with the toast (extra points if you poke the egg yolk and let it drip onto the avocado toast). Personally I think their toast is the most special part of the dish, after chatting with the worker I found out why it was so fluffy and thick, it is because they used Utane dough for their toast.

From what I can see and taste I can tell the owner/operator of this cafe really cares about their menu and quality. They also have some other items that you don't see everywhere. Next time I come i will try the bbq rice burger and their matcha latte.

They do get busy during brunch hours so make sure you plan ahead as there might be a little bit of a wait.

I definitely love this place! I came here today for the first time for a brunch type of food. I am from Denver and this hidden spot surprised me for the food quality and professionalism. ✅

Absolutely PHENOMENAL spot! I came here while waiting for my room to be available at the nearby motel 6 and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this place is. The food is reasonably priced relative to portion size and quality (which is through the roof!). The staff is extremely helpful and kind and were quick to answer all questions I had. I was happy to see that they have many outlets throughout the establishment so I could charge my devices, and they also offer free, FAST WiFi. The bathroom is clean and did not make me feel uncomfortable like most public restrooms do. Now let me get to the good part, the FOOD! I ordered a rose latte and a rice bun burger with pork belly. I asked for them to make my latte warm, but not too hot, and it arrived at the perfect temperature. I was greeted with the smell of roses and the taste of a full bodied, creamy latte. Presentation was 10/10, as was taste. Then they presented me with my burger, and the smell alone FLOORED me. It was love at first bite, and the juicy pork belly contrasting with the sticky yet crunchy rice bun created a great juxtaposition of flavors in my mouth. It was also filled with the perfect amount of fresh leafy greens. It was accompanied by absolutely exquisite fries, which offered the perfect balance of crunchy, soft and starchy, and salty. The ambiance in this coffee shop is also superb. I was met with the relaxing sound of jazz piano, comforting music that reminds me of my childhood. The people around me are in conversation. I can hear the happiness in their voices but they aren’t being loud enough to annoy me or sound obnoxious. Sublime energy indeed. While this place is a little hard to find, nestled in a plaza between a motel 6 and a freeway, it is a welcome refuge from the hustle and bustle of society around us. This wonderful little cafe is definitely true its name. I believe that this establishment will be my hide out in many years to come. I feel safe here. This is sacred ground

It's pretty good. My eyes lit up when I tasted the butter on the waffle because it was exactly that. Real butter. The presentation is also phenomenal. I will say though the cutting board was somewhat a confining eating experience. I'm not really one to draw within the lines so I was stressing neatness a little bit more than I would have liked while I was eating.

But yeah overall I really liked the place. Milk tea was just okay, but honestly the coffee seems to be the way to go. The tea did come out in a giant mug however so that was cool.

It is a nice and cute place for hangout with friends and chilling in type of cafe. Servers are friendly, food is ok (ordered the matcha waffle), drinks (ordered the bubbly fruit tea and lemonade) are amazing.

So after my doctor's appointment we decided to look for something near the area and found the Hide Out, it did take us a minute to find it lol cause it's not in the visible shopping center outside its located inside. It does have a patio where you can sit and eat/drink but be aware that you're stuff will be packed to go.
To snack on we ordered a deep fried platter, which we chose, waffle fries, onion rings, chicken fingers and popcorn chicken. Its actually pretty filling and not bad. What was surprising was the chicken fingers those were actually pretty big, you know some places you actually get nuggets. The popcorn chicken was pretty good had little pieces of garlic, it was a nice touch.
Best part of coming here were the drinks! Who doesn't like a little ice cream with a shot of espresso, I was surprised with the size of the Affogato. But I do believe the best one was the Tiramisu Milk Tea, we will definitely be coming back for more!

Got the rice burger with fries and Hokkaido milk tea. Both were great. Wish they have more outlets. But overall, great food and great service. Will definitely go back.

It was really cool how the drinks tasted .so sweet and the big bear was at the enters. it had really amazeing food I loved the waffles and the window seats are so cool.

Saw this cute little cafe that I wanted to check out and I’m so glad I did! I came in unsure of what I wanted but asked for something refreshing and light and the server recommended the Fresh Avocado Toast. The avocado was perfectly ripe and sunny side up egg was great, I loved how fresh everything was!

I also got the guava hibiscus green tea, per recommendation from the server, and it was the perfect pair with my avocado toast! (I wanted a drink that was a little tart, so this really hit the spot!)

Aside from the food being delicious, the servers were also so nice and accommodating, so happy I got to try a tasty dish and drink based off their recommendations! Can’t wait to come back and try more items off their menu, I got my eyes on the tater tots next time I come in 👀
