Waterfront Park

Burlington Waterfront Park is an amazing spot to enjoy a variety of activities and the natural beauty of Lake Champlain. Even in the rain, the waterfront of Burlington is beautiful! It seems very well taken care of and I thought the swings that lined the coastline were a nice touch. Gorgeous view of the Lake!

The Burlington Waterfront Park is a very nice spot to get some exercise, take pictures of the lake and the sunsets are awesome. How about a picnic, or maybe a kayak ride. The bike path runs right through, overall this area has plenty of room for all your outdoor needs. There is a public restroom during the warmer months right beside the playground area. And yes there is a ramp for handicap access ♿

With convenient parking, public restrooms and access to the waterfront path this is an ideal location for those visiting Burlington. There's an active train rail right beside the parking lot which my children loved watching the trains. There's the Leahy center which seems to be a good spot for children (we didnt have time but watched a whole class of younger children go in). The path along Lake Champlain passes through this section so jumping on the trail for a walk, run or bike is easy and offers amazing views of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains in the background. With miles of trails, benches, skate parks, beaches and views this was an ideal location to spend a few hours with the family and a great spot for anyone to get in some exercise.

We visited the Waterfront park on our recent trip to Burlington to get amazing views of Lake Champlain. The park is built very well and the Echo Leahy centre is located in this park. There is ample parking space as well. There are swings and benches placed every few feet along the walking path, if you wish to rest. The lake itself was gorgeous, especially around sunset, which we were lucky enough to view. It gets very cold as you get close to the lake!!

This is a great place to walk through during at sunset. The views are simply amazing and is a must if you are visiting the area. The scenery is just amazing to look at!

Nice walk after some food & drinks at the outdoor shopping mall. Steep hill on the way back.

I’ve been in VT for almost 14y and traveled all over the 🌎 I can assure you, the waterfront and Lake Champlain views never get old.
Great place to chill, watch the sunset 🌅 and walk around. Bike path behind if you are riding a bike… enjoy!

It's a nice small park with some good views of the lake champalin. Could be a bit busy during the day but good place for an evening walk, or even a picnic, which we did!

The highlight was the sunset! It was such a breathtaking view to see the sunset over the mountains with the lake in the backdrop, nice shades of colours.

I lived by the waterfront for almost six months out of my life when I was homless, I tented there.

It's beautiful and the waves from the lake are really nice at night. You can see the most glorious sunsets and beautiful full moons here, a perfect place to have a moment to yourself at night. My puppy experienced her first snow here, as a rescue husky. She adored it^^
Its kinda busy during the day in the summer, but after the sun sets, its one of the best places to have some time for yourself. A good place to take a walk or go to the beaches in the summer-
Make sure to only go on the beaches though!!! The rocks close to Echo have a lot of zebra mussels, so be careful.

So beautiful amazing area clean and well taken care of and a beautiful setting for the 2024 solar eclipse!

An awesome space to enjoy the sea, and appreciate the outdoors. There is wheelchair accessible parking conveniently located to the beach and docks. The socks are at a convenient angle so they should be okay to go down with assistance. It is important to be careful for ice or wet surfaces as it can be slippery. It is still a beautiful sight to see and enjoy from the pier. It was all wonderful to see and experience.

I traveled 4 hours from maine for this sunset and it was worth every moment... the people of Burlington are so so nice and I met some wonderful doggos

Visited for the total eclipse and had a fantastic time. The area is beautiful and nice to walk around. Plenty of interesting shops and the various people were nice and interesting.
It's a college town so expect that aspect and enjoy it or hate it as you please.

Lovely park with a great view of Lake Champlain. Great place to walk, run, bike, have a picnic, read a book or admire the lovely view. I enjoy walking here year round!

Very beautiful park! People were relaxing on the grass, walking dogs, playing football, and having a great time. The flowers in the park were very nice, and the view of the lake was beautiful. We saw a sailboat too!

Great vibe, clean and ice cream is available!

Always lovely yet the city needs to revamp their meter designing team. Put new blood. Several people struggled to pay for the use. Last year we had the same issue. Unfortunately the city seems to have mediocre developing team.
