Emeralds Eatery

I love this place! Been coming here for years, whenever I'm visiting from out of town I always make it a point to stop and eat here. The food is always great, fresh and homemade, their homemade corn chowder is awesome. The waitresses are always friendly and helpful and there's plenty of parking.

A solid 5. Great find near my hotel. The 3 egg veggie omelette is chock full of fresh vegetables and cheese. Plenty of leftovers for another breakfast at work. The side of bacon was totally worth it. The home fries were cooked just right and not greasy. The rye toast from NYC is to die for. Kevin's coffee is very good. The server is very friendly and the kitchen is prompt. She did the follow up which is hard to find in most places these days. The ambiance is just right.

We had the best meal here!!! Apple fosters french toast and a western omelette with turkey home fries and toast!!! We gobbled it up so fast !!! I would say go! Go! Go! Best waitresses ever!!!!

this is our first time to Connecticut. Emerald eatery is definitely a little gem. Our server MARY was great, the food was delicious, and especially the pistachio muffin.

Delicious and great quality food here; you can't go wrong eating at Emeralds! The Gobbler is honestly one the best sandwiches I have ever had...Excellent Restaurant!!

First time and won’t be the last! I got the Apple fritter French toast ($9) with two eggs, bacon, toast, and hash (not pictured). Food came out pretty quick and it was delicious 🤤

What a great place to start your day. Greeted with smiles. The coconut coffee is AWESOME. Mushroom omelette was perfect size and the Texas-style toast leaves you thoroughly satisfied and ready for your morning. Highly recommend.

the food was amazing and the food was not amazing it was delicious the home fries really compliments the food and the food really is delicious I recommend going here again.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the French Toast with sausage links. I was pleasantly surprised to get real pork sausage rather than that awful frozen stuff most restaurants serve. I do wish restaurants would offer the option of buying real maple syrup in lieu of that corn syrup garbage. The breakfast was delicious.

This is our favorite diner in the area for sure and we get food here a few times a month. Every time we do, the staff is very kind, the food is delicious, and the portions are great.

This diner is probably a little more expensive then the others in the area but I feel that the added cost is worth it.

For breakfast, the omlettes are packed with ingredients, the Monte Cristo is the best around, and the specials are very generous.

The staff deserve a raise for sure as it seems they are always understaffed around breakfast and brunch. But even with only one or two servers, they do a great job.

Overall, I highly recommend this diner.

My favorite breakfast joint. Fast food and great customer service (Mary is legendary!!!) I don't get there often but when I do get to my spot it's well worth the wait.

I occasionally come here for breakfast. Never once had a problem. They have always treated my daughter and I like locals even though we are not. It's got a small town atmosphere. The wait staff is the best part of the place if you ask me. The breakfast is not ground breaking but does the job. The pricing is middle of the ground. Evey time I'm in South Windsor (which isn't that often) we come in here for a quick bite.

Went in on Saturday for breakfast and it was delicious! The bacon and cheese omelette was perfect, the hash browns were super tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the eggs arrived quick.

I stopped in 1/2 hr prior to closing 2 weeks ago. Excellent service and really enjoyed the egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel. Will stop in to try lunch, menu looks great. Cute place, pleasant waitress.

Emeralds is very nice, they make their own hash which is very delicious and not too salty. They do the eggs exactly the way you want them. Pancakes - perfect. The service is very friendly. If you happen to get Mary as your server, you will be very happy.
