Brenda and the crew are so fast, friendly, and fun. The food is ready in no time, very fast service. This place is only 5 minutes from Hartford CT Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks. Across from the Homewood suites.

Great 50's themed diner. The service was amazing, and my egg sandwich was good. But the standout was the service. Stop by anytime, and you will not be disappointed. They are close to the airport, so if flying out, perfect time.

Stopped in to get out of a storm while on a road trip. Cool 50s themed place. I had French Toast, and my wife had a burger. Both were great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time here.

Wonderful breakfast experience! Brought me back to the 70s early 80s. Quick accurate service. Perfect western sandwich on a grilled water roll. Professional staff, clean facility.

Fun little 50's style diner. It is next to our hotel so we decided to head over for dinner. We were welcomed immediately when we walked in and told to have a seat at the counter or pick a seat. Our order was taken promptly and served quickly. The food was good and the price is just right. I enjoyed it so much I came back for breakfast the next morning!

It’s a great cozy diner. With great food. I have experienced unjust treatment at similar places in Connecticut. So I was worried I would experience this here. I’m so happy I was proved wrong! The people here are genuinely themselves. No bias in the room just good people service and food.The food was the best breakfast I’ve had since moving to Connecticut 3 years ago. Please stop in and have you a nice meal!

Occasionally stop in Windsor locks for work. Had an opportunity to grab breakfast here. INCREDIBLE is all I can say. Fast. Delicious. Friendly. Steak and eggs w/a coffee. Perfect. Thanks SCOOTERS.

Having gone by here many times while working, when I recently picked up my Mrs. from the airport nearby, I/we decided to finally give this place a try.
The staff was really nice, and I love the look of the place. The food (burgers & dogs) was pretty good and reasonably priced.
If you happen to want breakfast but are worried it is not "breakfast time", worry no longer as it is served all day long here.
I will certainly come here again and try some of the other menu items - I'm thinking breakfast sandwich...

Sometimes you need food, and food sometimes needs you. This place has both the food that you need and the food that needs you. Every time I come into this place I leave smiling 😃 great food. GREAT SERVICE. I hate joe biden. You will not regret ordering anything off the menu here!!!

After a very stressful airport experience, we stopped to rest our nerves for a few minutes. What a fantastic find! The service was OUTSTANDING! Joe was our waiter and Marcus (?) was behind the grill. Great food! Great prices! Fun atmosphere! I will definitely go back with the kids again and again. No need to go to the airport. Just go to Skooters and enjoy yourself!

Just off a flight and headed home hungry. Lazfly parking that we now use is next door and we could see Skooter's. Drove over and ordered breakfast. The food was good and the disposition of the staff was very good. We will come here to dine again either before or after future flights.

My first time at this diner which I've known about for YEARS outside the airport and after trying their Frankfurter Dog with grilled onions and their chicken Ceasar salad wrap w/croutons I was definitely blown away. service was quick and attentive, food came out super fresh, the decore was classic dinner which is always awesome to see. I recommend it for sure.

Mt first visit there was very good all around. The service was excellant and Super Friendly and the waitress treats you like family. They have a lot to choose from their menu and serve breakfast all day. It's a throw decor style diner. The prices are not bad and the food was good. Right now if you have Groupon, you could buy some coupons and give them a try at a reduced price. It was a week day, mid day visit and wasn't overly busy. I will repeat since I have four more coupons to use ... LOL.

I personally love cute little diners, and this by far is the cutest one that I have ever seen and have been to. We were taking a late flight out so we stopped in for a cup of coffee and pie. The waitress made a fresh pot for us, which was wonderful. we got coconut cream pie and chocolate pie and they were both delicious. I love the colors inside, the decorations, and they even play 50/60s music.
If you are flying out of Hartford, CT, do yourself a favor and stop by and grab a piece of pie and coffee. But, they also serve food made to order.

If you are looking for good comfort food with incredibly kind staff, look no further. We were out of town and took a chance on Skooters not knowing how good it would be . The milkshakes, fries, jumbo burgers and tenders were amazing . The staff was not only efficient but friendly and it felt like we knew them for years! Stop into Skooters today! You won’t regret it!

Cool retro style restaurant. Food was great along with the service. Will stop again soon!

Good Food, Great Ambiance, and a Slight Hitch

The food was absolutely good, and the ambiance exuded much comfort. Our dining experience took an unexpected turn when the maintenance man decided it was the ideal moment to tinker with the light fixtures, dropping his drill uncomfortably close to my mother-in-law. (Talk about a heart-stopping moment!)

The staff was quick to apologize for the disruption, but the lack of empathy from the maintenance man left much to be desired. It's a shame that a minor hiccup overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable cuisine!

Lesson learned: sometimes, even the most delicious meals can come with a side of unexpected surprises. 🍽✨"

This is a tough review. I didn't like a few things from the jump, however, this is an old small restaurant by the airport, I have to give someleeway and it is a nice theme. I love their menu but I went there for the tuna melt and I stuck to my guns, and I had a cup of chilli and fries. Everything on the menu is ala carte, and thats my thing with Mexican restaurants so I need to be equitable (LOL!!). THEYVE GOT FRIED WHOLEBELLY CLAMS, $12.95 on a role, very fair price, I've got to go back. No frills, I had to get my own water and the cups were tiny, so I got 3.Prices seemed fair and you get what you get, you'll like it I think.
