Petes CARSTAR of South Windsor

Love Pete's CARSTAR! I have been here before and always satisfied which is why I come back. When you have 2 cars yourself and 3 kids who drive body shops are needed unfortunately! Pete's worked on my Corvette Z06 and it looks beautiful after being damaged in a construction zone in Rocky Hill (1st pic). Damage included front bumper, splitter, underneath and fenders from front being torn off. Al was amazing from the moment I stopped in and helped me through some complex situations, including wheel refinishing and other nuances of the special car. I was out of town when the vehicle was completed and they even delivered it to my garage for me! The shop is professional and very well managed.

A couple of weeks ago I hit a deer on my way to work with my brand new Subaru STI. It wasn't even a second thought in my mind where my car was going. I wouldn't trust anyone but Pete's CARSTAR when it comes to touching my vehicle for any sort of body work. I contacted Al and he took care of everything. You'll never meet a better group of people who will work their absolute hardest to keep their customers happy. I've seen a lot of different examples of work from various body shops over the years and none can even come close to comparing to Pete's CARSTAR in South Windsor. Like I told Al when i contacted him; it's a new car, it needs to continue looking new... and they did just that.

After a body shop did an absolute horrible job on my car, I took it to Pete's and they went above and beyond to fix my car. I couldn't be any happier!

My car had its brake pads replaced and came back from the auto shop with a compressed roof - it was pretty extensive damage. I choose Pete’s CarStar based on insurance’s in network options and was pleased I did because they did a great job. My car was returned to me looking like new- both inside and out. Seems they have great attention to detail because the exterior looked flawless and they also did a great job cleaning the interior. Everything went according to scheduled timeline and they communicated daily about the progress. It was a seamless process. Thank you!

I had the best experience at Pete’s Car Star, they updated me on the progress of my vehicle and left it looking brand new! Both Daniel S and Danny at the front desk were very professional and understanding; they really made sure the issues that came up with contacting the insurance company were resolved and easy on us as the customer. Customer service walked me through everything that would be happening and they were very professional and welcoming. I have a Mitsubishi Mirage needed some work. I think they did a superb job on my car. They stayed in contact with me, let me know of every stage that they were at working on my car, and how soon it would be finished. I was just expecting... I don't know what I was expecting. But WOW it was definitely worth it. My car looked like a brand new car. It even looked newer than from before when I first bought my car in 2019. I definitely would recommend this to family, friends, and my coworkers. I'm very, very happy with the service that I received and happy received so many compliments.

It was a pleasure working with Pete’s CARSTAR of South Windsor! Everything was handled efficiently and in a timely manner. Danny at the front desk was able to assist me with everything I needed and answered all questions I had about my repairs. I also received text messages which allowed me to see where they were in the repair process as well as any updates regarding delivery of the parts and I, personally, felt that was very convenient! I own an Autobody business, but my insurance restricted me from fixing my own car..! I am very picky (obviously) about having anyone work on my car, let alone do body and paint work , which I would have to look at every time I get near the car, so to say the least I was concerned with who would do the job. I read the reviews, and even took a tour of the shop, and decided on Pete’s..! They met my high expectations on my storm damaged Highlander with great repairs and perfect paint match on a very difficult color to match perfectly (I know..!). Thank you Pete’s Carstar..!! I had gotten sideswiped on the highway. I brought my car to Pete’s CARSTAR for the repair and I was not disappointed! If anything, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the office area immaculate and welcoming to customers, but the people that handled my repair, from the minute I walked into the front door till the moment I drove out with my car, were all professional, knowledgeable and excellent!

I hope I never have to use them again, but if I do, this is the shop I will go to.

Had my car brought in after a hit and run accident caused over $18,000 in damage to my 2020 Honda Accord Touring, these guys did a phenomenal job and practically rebuilt my car. In a little less than 2 months I got the text my car was done and I was totally blown away by the work that was completed, my car looked better than when I first bought it and I just couldn't be happier it's as if the accident never even happened.

10/10 absolutely recommend to anyone in need of a repair shop

The team at Pete's is amazing! My SUV was really badly damaged and they did a very thorough job. At first some of the alignments and gaps were off but they responded tremendously to my concerns. My satisfaction was paramount to them and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. In the end the work was impeccable. I highly recommend Pete's CARSTAR!

My car was damaged in a hit-and-run accident and had taken my car to Pete's to be repaired. The staff is very professional and kind, customer service was exceptional, and my repair was completed very quickly. They returned my car nicer to me than it had even look before the accident. They also cleaned the interior as an above-and-beyond courtesy. Highly recommended.

Very professional! They kept me informed of the card damage, cost of service and expected time of repair. My only complaint is that the inside handle of my car door was dirty, most likely from the tow place. It is surrounded by fabric and had a greasy hand print and smudge. I gave five stars because they came right out and cleaned it up. No questions asked. I don’t like dirty looking fabric. Thank you so much!

Pete’s Carstar does wonderful work. I received messages every day, telling me the stage of the repair. The work was completed in a timely manner and was finished on the promised date. The car looks great. I would definitely recommend Pete’s to my friends and family.

Having an accident isn’t fun but the repair experience was made a lot easier with Pete’s carstar. They updated me daily and worked with my insurance and my car looks and drives great after the repair. I fully reccomend them for any repairs you need.

Great experience here!! Had to have some repairs done on my car - turnaround was reasonable and Danny was extremely helpful and kept me updated almost daily! I would definitely bring my car here again
