My experience at GoldBurgers was exceptional in many ways. Once you enter the store you get that nostalgic feeling as if you entered a space in time and have gone to a classic burger place of your childhood. I order the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese burger, Blue and Gold Burger, Large Fry and Drink. Everything was incredible. The only thing I was bummed about was the price of price of fries. I paid $10 to add a large fry and Drink with my meal. So if I was eating a large meal for myself, it would be $21 for a combo. That’s a pretty steep price, so when I come back I think I’ll just get a burger on its own.

I've been hearing great things about this place so I had to try it, right in my childhood stomping grounds. I literally ran into, a few kids, on my way in. 45 years ago, they would have been me. I checked out the menu on the wall and it was a little overwhelming, so I got a menu and sat down. Lots of burger options, lots! Also, hot dogs, sausage, and chicken onions. I ended up going with their flagship goldburger, I substituted the potato chips on the burger with fried onion strings. The roll was firm enough and covered in sesame seeds, I loved it. With my first bite I realized that the awesome topping options are almost irrelevant, the burger was big, juicy, and very tasty. Also, great waffle fries. I think you'll enjoy every burger choice regardless of your toppings choice, the gold is in the burger 🍔, very juicy and tasty! You have to try, you'll be back for seconds and thirds.

Excellent burger, chill staff & atmosphere. Double patty with garlic mayo,roasted peppers,grilled mushrooms,provolone. 5 Stars!

This has been my go to burger restaurant for probably 10 years now. By far the best burger I've ever had. This is what I like to call a "crumbly" Burger where the meat is not pressed so tightly allowing for a juicy flavorful and tender patty. Very unique take on the modern classic meal.

Their food is fresh and homemade, tasty and priced right where it should be. The fries and onion rings are absolutely delicious and the different combinations of burgers (or chicken/veggie) plus an option to make your own is just fantastic. Available outdoor seating in the heart of Newington is perfect for nice days.

If you're looking for one of the best burger spots in the area and possibly Connecticut, this is the place for you.

GoldBurgers continues to have the best burgers around. They have a wide variety of creative combinations that are all delicious. They primarily do take out business, but there are some small tables if you wish to dine in. When the weather is nice they have a couple of small tables out front as well. Keep in mind most of the parking is in the lot behind the restaurant since there is a very limited number of street parking spaces in front.

It really is that good. This might be the best Burger I've ever had. There's a pretty good selection here if you are a meat lover, and a meatless option as well. Burgers are on the greasy side, but are loaded with flavor. Onion rings and fries are good also. Burgers come out pretty quickly, service is friendly, and and it's very inexpensive. This place gets the job done with a minimum of pretentiousness or fuss. Highly recommended.

Very nice and great customer service. The Mac bites are amazing with the Mac sauce. Burger was good. The sweet potato fries were super crunchy. I couldn’t finish it all so I got a box to take it home. Still was delicious warmed up the next day.

Just ate the Goldburger, it was fantastic! I also purchased the New England Dog but no room for that right now. I'm pretty sure it wont disappoint. Service was good, not an excessively long wait time, remember this isnt fast food! Plenty of seating outside and limited seating inside. I was there at lunch time and there was room to sit.

Best burger I’ve had in awhile

I got the Gold burger and with bacon and it was amazing. The best burger I've had ever. It was so juicy and the sauce was the perfect tanginess and creaminess. The pickles are insanely delicious. I couldn't decide between the waffle fries or sweet potatoes so I did the 50/50 & that is the move. I can't wait to go back. Seriously can not have enough about this place.

One of my favorite burger places in CT. It is a little pricey but for the quality it is worth paying a little bit more. The GoldBurger is so delicious sweet potato fries and regular fries are to die for.. The staff is great and always willing to answer questions. If you've never tried you are missing out.

I was so impressed with their veggie burger. My boyfriend and I stopped here when we were in the area. We were able to fully customize our burgers easily and order online for pickup.

I can’t wait to come back. The waffle fries were also super good.

My favorite place in all of Newington, in fact the ONLY place to get the best chicken burger in all CT. I recommend Goldburgers to everyone, even asking for a chicken coop a week for 20 weeks until I gave birth to our third. Their food is fantastic, atmosphere is great, and the staff is fantastic.
Chicken coop- sub American cheese- add frizzies and a runny egg. Your welcome. Also, they have the best fries.

I'm a sucker for a good hot dog and GoldBurgers doesn't disappoint. Whenever I'm within 15 miles of Newington I have to go to GoldBurgers. Try the dogs or anything else that strikes your fancy. It's ALL good.

Summary: A hidden gem in central CT. GoldBurgers is arguably the best burger place in the state with unrivaled quality and consistency. The burgers are the juiciest and most flavorful with various toppings complementing the flavor of the high quality beef. Customers can select from predesigned Specialty burgers or build their own.

The burgers were good, the service was fast, I definitely like the burgers better than the quintet burger place. More than enough fries.
