Spigot Cafe

I absolutely love this place. My best friend and I go once every week and we both love it. It’s clean, friendly, and has so many cool games alone with TouchTunes which is a huge benefit. The drinks are very reasonable and there’s plenty of close parking. Also love that they’re open when everyone else is closed.

I've driven by this place many times and didn't realize what it was. And finally joined friends to catch a game. What a friggin cool surprise. Loved it. Small, cozy, clean, lots of tvs and random, fun decor. Beer was good. Food we got from the food truck. Overall, two thumbs up for a low-key, local venue.

Great bar!! Lots of great beer fairly inexpensive and a selection of bar food.

I have never regretted going to this bar. Establishments like this are few and far between in the area.

West End of Hartford classic. So pleased that the new owners are continuing the tradition.

Excellent. I wish every bar was like this- retro aesthetic, tons of tubes for sports, decent beer selection, and just fun to be at overall.

A nice bar with big TVs for watching sports, darts, jenga and connect 4s for games, juke box for music. Fresh local beers on tap and good liquor selection. Good bar to bring a date or friends!

Surprisingly diverse selection of good craft beer! The parking is terrible, but the welcoming feel of this local watering hole more than made up for it! They don't serve much for food, but we were pleasantly surprised that they had a list of nearby take out & delivery options that we could choose from and have food delivered. They had both NFL games playing, even the west coast game that isn't locally televised (they have NFL network). The bartenders were very friendly & personable too.

Lovely place, great people and great vibes. If you're looking for a local bar you should make a visit!

Great bar off the beaten path, recently renovated by new owners, slightly better prices than West Hartford downtown for example.

I love that they have darts and Pacman, but they need a pool table or two.

Other than that great little bar, good date spot for grabbing a drink.

Parking is kind of confusing, it's sort of up on the curb.

Spigot is the go to spot for drinks and fun! It’s a quaint local spot and we almost took it off our list after a few belligerent girls made everyone feel very uncomfortable…don’t do drugs folks. Luckily, Talia (everyone’s favorite bartender) handled the situation with class and was able to take out the trash! And for that, we will always come back.

Things to expect:
-friendly service
-to pay cash, only
-people watching football or whatever the sport of the time is
-to be better or worse than you thought you were at darts
-no outside light
-you beer selection with reasonably prices
-good whisky selection
-randomly, but generally good, music put on the juke box.
-friendly groups of folks having fun

Don't expect:
-food. But they have some chips and nuts and you can order or bring in your own food
-it to be hip. People are just hanging out watching sports and playing darts. It's very rad in its own way.
-women. There are usually only a handful of us.

I have such a love for awesome dive bars! This is definitely one of my favorites. All the bartenders and owner are amazing group of humans. Darts, jukebox and lots of big TVs what more can you ask for.

Absolutely the friendliest neighborhood hangout you would want to experience. Warm and eclectic, yet cool and comfortable. Staff is inviting and responsive. Great choice if you just want to hang & talk with you date...or if you just want to talk to yourself!

In the greater Hartford area, it is hard to find a good place to find to throw darts. The Spigot has three boards, but on weekends you may have to hold your own against the regulars to keep your board. Great beer selection with plenty of local breweries. More than enough TVs to watch the games. Come thirsty, but don't come hungry. The Spigot does not serve food. Rumor has it they do allow you to bring food in though.

Awesome Bar... friendly staff and a huge selection of beverages.. And the Pizza, YUM ! A must visit... This place is so much like the old show "cheers"... you always have a friend in this Bar..

Oldest pub in the Greater Hartford Area (at least that I know of). It has a dive-bar vibe and is usually crowded during football games. This place does not serve food, but you are allowed to bring in food from outside. Their "beers around the world" fridge gives you access to bottles from various countries. Keep in mind though, this is a cash only place. There is an ATM in the corner if you need it.

This is a low key, clean dive bar. Great place to go watch a game, play darts, or play board games (you bring your own), great place to go on a chill night with friends. You can also bring your own food.

You'll think it's a dive bar until you go inside and then for a couple minutes you may still think it's a dive bar... But then you'll see their big selection of affordable craft beers and you won't care any more. This place is a neighborhood favorite.
