We had the most wonderful experience with Matt Brouillard at Signature Properties of Vermont. After looking for the perfect home for two years, we suddenly and unexpectedly found it. With zero notice, Matt sprang into action and helped us secure the house in just a few days. As first time homebuyers we had no idea what to do, what to look for, or what to ask. Matt was extremely friendly, patient, and attentive during every phase of the process. He gave us masterful guidance during a very spirited bidding war and helped us secure the property of our dreams. Cathy Wood is an exceptional realtor. If you want someone who truly listens, guides and supports you the entire way through the home buying process, you have hit the jackpot. During a very hot, competitive market in South Burlington when there was very little inventory of homes to buy, she dedicated herself to finding a house for us. Complicating matters was we lived out of state and couldn’t readily see properties in person. Cathy helped us every step of the way, using her broad array of contacts to find us new construction, existing homes and land to look at. She helped us way up the pros and cons of each option. Ultimately she helped us secure a beautiful house we are proud to call home. But her services didn’t stop there. She walked us through the convoluted process of securing a mortgage, found us a terrific real estate attorney, an excellent home inspector and other essential services. Her Signature Properties colleagues provided excellent support. With her trademark combination of empathy, humor and charm she listened to our needs really well and employed her extensive business experience to help us negotiate the purchase. Even after the details were largely buttoned down, Cathy called me to check how we were doing with the sale of our home out of state. She was endlessly helpful and encouraging. My husband and I have nothing but high praises to sing for the team over at Signature Properties! Larry Rutherford was our buyers agent and he was attentive and relentless in working with us to find a home-- seeing several dozen properties over a 3 month period, helping us draft roughly a dozen offers, and regularly sending us information on new properties being listed. He was always happy to answer questions and his knowledge of Chittenden county, the housing market, and properties in general was invaluable in our search for our first home. And when we were finally under contract he was incredibly helpful in navigating updates to the contract, lining up services that we needed to get in touch with, and generally just making sure we had everything we needed every step of the way. When occasionally Larry was not available or out of town, he was always sure to connect us with his coworker, Jarah Romasco, who was quick to step in and was equally helpful in her willingness to help us sort out paperwork, send us property information, and be available to us as needed. Blake was great to work with. He had a host of contacts for everything you might need for buying and selling a home. He has a wealth of market knowledge and won't steer you wrong. He is someone I would not only recommend, but use again if and when its time for our next chapter.

Once again it was time to sell my condo and move on to a house. Blake was once again right on top of everything. There were two homes to sell, and a new one to find. I sent him every listing that I found of interest within an hour of my current location. No listing ever scared him away, and he quickly scheduled every requested showing. While we experienced many issues that were completely beyond our control, Blake always stayed in touch with all involved, and kept the process moving. Cathy Wood helped us sell a piece of property that was somewhat difficult to sell. She did an outstanding job. We felt an instant connection with her and her honest and helpful ways. We were extremely happy with our experience listing and selling our house with Marvin and Signature Properies! We live out of state, and Marvin took care of everything. He worked with our tenants, and set up multiple showings, which resulted in an offer on the first day it was shown!  Marvin then continued to take care of all the things that needed to be done prior to the closing, including finding contractors to address items found in the inspection.
