Tail Winds Ice Cream

Out family's favorite icecream spot in the area. Has a nice outdoor area to sit. They have many options most shops don't have such as Dole whip soft serve, hand made icecream sandwiches, vegan, and no sugar added options.

First time ever visiting this place and it was delicious.

The fudge o nutter Sunday with the chocolate brownie fudge hard ice cream sundae was excellent!

We like to try new places and we would definitely recommend this place as a regular or as a must visit if in the area!

Nothing beats Ice Cream on a Sunday evening. The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip frozen yogurt is by far, the BEST thing to have. Great friendly service with a smile and giggles. Thanks Tail Winds.

This place is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! I literally had such a hard time picking that I walked away with two ice cream cones! No lie! This place is absolutely incredible and if you are anywhere in the area you definitely have to stop.

The staff was very nice and there were plenty of flavor choices. Pricing was good, and hard ice cream was very tasty. They have some interesting sounding sundaes. Most are made with soft serve ice cream, but if you let them know that you have a gluten allergy I'd see if they could substitute it with hard instead. This could be considered a hidden gem.

Great little spot near Bradley's Air Port. I just had a nice Banana Split and it was great. Definitely recommend this spot, cause the workers have good energy and great service. Remember to eat local and support local businesses.

The ice cream was very good, the staff was nice and the line wasn't too long on a hot summer afternoon. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard of the facility where it was well shaded and had a lot of chairs and a few picnic tables. Overall it was a great experience and a nice alternative to the other big ice cream place in the Locks.

Delicious! Scoops are huge. Prices are very reasonable. There is a shaded grassy area behind the building with tables & chairs.

Super friendly staff and the ice cream was great! Portions were very generous. The parking lot is a little small but there is another business plaza right next to it with plenty of parking, and then you can walk right over. Nice outdoor seating as well!

Delicious ice cream and a extensive collection of deserts. 24 hard ice cream flavors. My favorite is a orange creamsicle shake! They will put together anything you can think of. Friendly staff and fair prices. A great place to stop with the family.

Sundae selection is awesome, friendly staff. There's an airplane for kids to play in while listening to Bradley Airport Control Tower.

I prefer coming here over dairy cream. lowkey and not usually busy. definitely get your money worth with the size of the everything. love it!

Love their soft serve with flavor burst. Soft seve is smooth, "rich" and creamy. Employees and the owner are all great!

Great selection of flavors and my waffle cone was very generously full. Wonderful selection of hard serve flavors!

Very friendly happy upbeat service, they are located in a lot that is all shade so it wasn't bad to wait in line and eat our ice cream unlike when we go to dairy cream where would would have to wait in the relentless rays of the sun. They have picnic tables in the back and a small area for little kids to play. Sundaes were delicious, they have a great variety of sundaes, ice creams, and they offer ice cream nachos. Definately will be visiting here regularly during the summer. They are CASH ONLY so come prepared.
