Yume Hibachi Steak and Sushi

the specialty lover roll was fantastic! it is my third time ordering from this place and both takeout and dine in lunch were fresh and delicious. came in on a Sunday afternoon and only one other set of people were there. highly recommend you come give yume a try!!

What can I say about this place, it’s a local gem! I’ve been frequenting Yume now, for 2+ years and I’m never disappointed. Peter, the manager is what makes the experience so special. I recommend sitting at the bar and strike a convo with him, you won’t be disappointed. Food is good and so is the atmosphere. I recommend to anyone looking to have good food at a chill place! I make it a point to visit at least twice a month. Hope you try it out and enjoy!

One of, if not, the most consistent sushi restaurant in CT hands down. I’ve eaten pretty much everywhere coast to coast as I’m a big sushi guy and used to drive an hour to my favorite place and no longer have to!

The food here is excellent and has lots of flavor. The chef is funny and entertaining! The portions are huge. You're not leaving here hungry, that's for sure. The staff is friendly and professional. I'm looking forward to having my next meal.

Great service, we had a large group gathering and the service was exceptional. The food was excellent as well. The only downside was the wait time for the chef to cook. They only had 1 chef for all the hibachi tables. I still gave them 5 stars because of the service give. They even had a ending sake toast with the group.

Yume has always been one of my favorite Hibachi restaurants. I love the mushroom soup and salad along with the main course for the Hibachi dinner. There have been times I’ve gone there in the past and it gets busy so definitely call ahead to get a reservation but this a great spot.

Been coming here since '09 and wow what a great vibe! Peter and Amanda are the best dynamic duo you will ever meet behind the bar. Sake shots are a must!! Sushi is fresh daily and they have the bestttt rolls. Funniest hibachi chef is David.

We were there last weekend celebrating my nephew's birthday. 20 people. The hibachi chef was fantastic 😋 Cooked to perfection with humor, jokes, and singing. He included everyone. We all had the best time ever ❤. Thankyou Yume Hibachi

I love yume! Always a great place no matter the size of your party. I even had a birthday celebration there once! Their hot sake machine is amazing I don't know why but it is better than other ones lol they have multiple sushi rollers so you get delicious sushi and fast I have even watched 3 go at once it was pretty cool! As I said delicious sushi 🍣 and they even had someone to make sure your water was always full and he was full of jokes. Actually all of the staff was very friendly. My only regret is that I have not been able to try the hibachi yet

We recently went here with a reservation for Hibachi for 8 people. There was no waiting. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. The chef was hilarious, and we all had such a good time. I can't wait to go back !

My first big party at my backyard that everybody was waiting for. As soon as the hibachi arrived with the mobile hibachi grills the euphoria started. Entertaining performance was the first, then the incredible and amazing flavorful food. Def recommend.
