Nutmeg Restaurant and Banquet

Exceptional food and very attentive staff. The menu included many options for people with varied tastes. I enjoyed the crab cakes, steak, and lobster.

I went some friends who regularly visit and the staff all recognized them and clearly appreciated their repeat business. It was perhaps the best service experience I've had from a locally owned restaurant.

I found that the restaurant was a little empty today, and I hope reviews like mine can bring the community attention to this gem. I hope they continue to succeed and thrive in the area!

Really enjoyed our meal here! Took a chance on open table while looking for some place to dine. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Even let us pick our table. The salad is HUGE we split a Cesar. The portions are generous, had the chicken parm and Greek pork chops. Looking forward to going back. Glad we gave it a try.

Perfect Sunday brunch! From the basics to the unexpected this buffet was amazing. All the breakfast items were available bacon eggs French toast home fries... I enjoyed the made-to-order omelettes. There was a beautiful assortment of salads from traditional to a pumped-up caprese and a cabbage and carrot salad...don't get me started on the assortment of pasta salads. The carving station offered three selections of freshly carved meats, ham, roast beef and lamb. Now let's talk desserts... Cheesecake pastries a chocolate pudding dessert assorted cakes and pies... I chose the red velvet, fitting with Valentine's celebration. The service was welcoming and attentive. The wait staff was quick to refill our coffee and remove our plates checking infrequently to see if we need anything. Chef's at carving station and omelette bar were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Brunch is amazing! Everything was delicious. Love the wait staff, all the staff was fantastic! The two gentlemen at the carving/omlett station are very friendly!

Brian provided exceptional service, making the experience very pleasant and enjoyable. Fantastic server.
The eggplant parmesan was delicious and the serving size was so generous I had to take some home.
My wife had the scallop dinner which was just as tasty with the same generous portion.

It was part of a seminar but the food was excellent. I had the steak medium rare and it couldn't have been done any better!

Others had salmon and chicken Française. All were happy.

Dessert was a delicious mouse with cream on top.

This is one of the most breathtaking places we've ever been too! The staff here, amazing and friendly, the atmosphere, warm and welcoming, the food, out of this world, the price, well worth it for the experience. 10/10 we will be back again!

The Choppino was extremely delicious. There was enough food, seafood and pasta left over for a couple of different meals. The chicken marsala was perfect with fresh brown mushrooms. Every fish dish was excellent and Paulino and his wife were excellent hostesses. The Nutmeg is a hidden gem and should be tried if you're looking for a different place to dine.

Went for Sunday Brunch and the food and choices was Amazing! The staff was Very Attentive and Excellent!

What a gem!
Voluminous menu, fresh ingredients, (highly recommend the apple pumpkin bisque, apple walnut salad, and sauerbraten), tremendous flavor, attentive staff, and awesome desserts (chocolate raspberry cake is delectable).
Dinner music would’ve raised atmosphere to 5.
We’ll be back for sure!

I enjoyed the event I went to there. The food was good and prepared well. The service was very good.

Great venue, is a perfect location for a small event or wedding. The food was good. It does have limited seating if you plan to have a wedding ceremony at this venue. All in all its a nice place.

Had a wonderful dinner here for Mother’s Day! My mother had been to an event at The Nutmeg a few years back and raved about their baked stuffed shrimp. Even though they no longer had the item on the menu, they accommodated and made the dish for my mother. She was so thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed her meal! Thank you for accommodating her and for your terrific customer service. All the food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main entrees to the desserts! Great experience! Will definitely dine here again!

My husband and I wanted to make sure we wrote a review before leaving for our honeymoon. If you are considering The Nutmeg for a small/medium wedding, do it. It’s very hard to find a venue with an 50 person minimum. Our family and friends keep telling us how lovely the evening was and it was exactly what we envisioned. Brian — if you’re reading this, you are fantastic. Multiple people have mentioned this to us as well. Thank you for everything and we’ll be back soon! 🤍

The Nutmeg is like a hidden gem. The lobster bisque was absolutely exquisite and full of the right amount of lobster. The Choppino in the traditional red sauce was unbelievable in portion and taste. I would dare to say the best Choppino I've had in a very long time. Paulino, our waiter, bartender, possibly the chef, and the dishwasher and his wife Jennifer were absolutely delightful. What a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Great food and service! We just went to The Nutmeg for Valentine's Day, one of the first times out since the pandemic. The manager made it a point to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The food was amazing, I devoured my NY sirloin, but my fiancé took a picture of her entrée.

Tonight, we returned to the Nutmeg to celebrate our 16th wedding Anniversary. The entire staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our server, Brian, was the best. He was attentive but let us relax between courses. The food and service was just as special as it was 16 years ago. My salmon dinner tonight was perfection. My husband loved the sea bass. Our very generous complimentary dessert was superb. Looking forward to our next visit,

Brian was our server for lunch and he contributed greatly to the experience. I had the chicken picata and my wife had the veal parmesan. Both were excellent. We brought home more than half of both and had another meal.
