Newington Pizza Restaurant

I've been going here since 1974. I grew up the distance of a football field away, and this was pizza perfection to me. I went recently and got a small with onion on the whole pizza, hamburg on 1/2 and pepperoni on the other have. Not much has changed, still a great Greek Pizza, crispy crust, a little greasy just like it's supposedto be. I devoured it. Poor thing didn't stand a chance. A few things have changed at Newington Pizza, the staff, a remodel but that's about it. I think their Marque hasn't changed since 1967 when they opened. Do your self a favor and grab a Newington pizza or grinder when you get a chance.

Great pizza and I love the rice pudding that comes with each one.

Great spot. The pizza is awsome and the staff members are really nice people. Ever since my family and I tried it, it became our new pizza spot.

Food is usually good here!! Weird tho tonight's pizza and calamari was terrible. Pizza was dripping of oil and calamari was burnt .

First time purchasing from this restaurant and it was great. It was busy because of the holiday so the wait was a bit long, but it was worth the Wait. I ordered 2 different pizza with special request how to make it, and they NAILED IT!!! It looked good and tasted great. The chicken wings cooked to perfection and grilled chicken salad was excellent. I think I found a new pizza spot. Can't wait to go back again. The young lady at the counter was very helpful, kind and perfessional.

Recently went here for the first the reviews did not do it justice. I can't speak for the rest of the food but if its as good as the pizza then I'm sure it great. Pizza was excellent, staff was extremely nice and helpful. I didn't eat in but picked up the pizza in person, the seating area was very clean and had a nice small town pizzeria vibe.

portions are more than what you pay for, the mozzarella sticks & crispy chicken salad are always our go to!! everything on the menu is amazing, the service is always awesome- always greeted with a smile!

This is my favorite pizza around! It is JUST like the Greek-style pizza I grew up with and I'm so happy to have found a place where I can experience that again. They are always timely in having the pizza ready to be picked up, and are always friendly when I come in. It even comes with rice pudding (when getting at least a large) which is just an awesome little perk. Highly recommend you getting your pizza here!

Just came out from the movies and I’m out here sitting in the front of the store munching away on a pepperoni pizza and bone in wings and everything is so fresh and hot, the pizza full of pepperonis there’s not even space to put more pepperoni! It was Awesome! And the wings are so crunchy when I say crunchy get those jaws ready because once you pierce trough that wing crust and explosion of juicy meat rushing in your mouth 🤤. I’m not even from newington and it’s my first time here. I came in felt comfortable and left satisfied. Thank you for this experience Newington Pizza! I’ll be BACK!!! 😎

The food is delicious! I tried many different items on their menu and every single one was delicious. The boneless wings literally melt in your mouth. The staff is so friendly and even their delivery service is top notch. They actually call you on arrival. Love this place! You will not be disappointed.

Called in for pickup. Pizza was ready and hot. No mistakes. Pizza exactly as ordered. Although there were several customers in front of me, counter staff was friendly , and quickly moved through the line.
They make a good tasting Pizza, with plenty of sauce and cheese, and reasonably priced.
They also serve grinders.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The moment I got on the phone with them, they were courteous, patient, and accommodating, not to mention, just plain nice. We ordered our pizza and salad and it came within 5 min of the time promised to us. I was very impressed!
Now lets get to the good part! I ordered half chicken Parmesan, and Mediterranean white pizza. Just one word needed!! CAN YOU SAY, "YUMMY!" After every savory juicy bite I had to say, "Damn this is soooo good!". Thanks for an amazing lunch! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!

I drive all the way from Naugatuck To here to get pizza 🍕. At least once a week to get there pizza, someone in the comments compared there to pizza hut, yeah Oh-k! Buddy, pizza hut wishes.

Newington 🍕 Pizza is in Newington Center, great location.
It’s eat in/ delivery. The prices are decent, the food is very tasty.
I’m not a Pizza person, but this one is actually worth trying, I like it allot. I also like extra crispy chicken, allot of places I ordered chicken, you get saggy chicken skin, they make extra crispy if you request. Their set up inside is cute, could need little update, but not to bad. I definitely recommend you to try this Pizza place if you live locally.

Our favorite place to get pizza in Newington! There are other good options but NP takes the cake (pizza). We will order once every other week. Great cheese, sweet(er) sauce, not-to-crunchy crust. Overall a great pie. It's not just the pizza either, we love their garlic bread, salads, and chicken tenders. Even the ranch side is a fav. The woman who works at the front cashier is very friendly and personable, my girlfriend has seems like she is best friends with her lol. The pizza is cut in squares, but you can ask for them to cut in triangles and I enjoy that to mix it up as well.
