When I called Lumsden Real Estate I was skeptical about needing a realtor however I wasn’t having very good results marketing my house on my own. Matt & Erica came to my house and met with me and my wife, they were very knowledgeable and honest about what we should expect to get from using a realtor versus not and about asking the right dollar amount that was realistic and one you could live with. Erica Lumsden and Matt Lumsden were wonderful! They were so helpful and professional. Erica really knows how to market a house! I had people looking at my house within hours of it being listed, and the house was under contract two days after it was listed. I'd never sold a house before so I really appreciated their patience explaining things to me and guiding me every step of the way. They made sure everything was done correctly and timely. Matt and Erica are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly agents and easy to work with. A year ago, when we were looking to hire a realtor to sell our condo, Matt impressed us with his high energy and positive can-do attitude, so we signed a contract with him. We unexpectedly had to move out of state and this was our first time selling a property, so we were a bit concerned about doing the sale from another state. Matt and Erica graciously agreed and took over complete responsibility to sell our condo. When there were a few things to take care of such as hiring someone to do fire safety inspection, furnace/fireplace/dryer vent/carpet cleaning, buying smoke detectors, hiring a closing attorney, even disposing of some of the items that we left behind, they went above and beyond and took care of everything. They always kept us informed on showings and progress on other things. From our first meeting until the sale of our condo last month, Matt and Erica were always there for us throughout the process.
