Inspire Café

Tried the avocado toast and a bowl. Had a green juice and a big cup of coffee. The atmosphere and food were perfect. I love that the old warehouse district is repurposed and beautiful.

The best gluten-free cookies I've ever had! Tried the Rose Garden Latte and absolutely loved it! The space is humongous!! There's a parking ramp across the street that charges $1 per hour! So happy to have discovered this gem in Dubuque, IA! 😄 No wifi, as far as I could tell, but thank goodness for phone/internet data. 😉 If you want to escape the internet and have an electronic detox, it's a great place to do that. For instance, people come here to chat or play cards.
The building used to be a company called Caradco (the oldest manufacturer of wooden windows and patio doors in the United States). There is history about who worked for the co. in the past in the hallway (where the water dispenser and bathrooms are located).

An out-of-towner who was looking for a café to relax and finish up some work. Found Inspire, and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food and drink selection. I wound up with an omelet and the Nutty Monkey. As I said, this spacious and relaxing environment is conducive to business, and there were several people around me conducting meetings over lunch. Make sure to try out Inspire whether for business or pleasure. Prices are on par with other local coffee shops.

Hey!! Some great coffee! They were quick and had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back! The smoothies we got, both peach and strawberry, were very good. The Mayan Mocha is a perfect balance of chocolate, spice, and coffee. Great stop!

I got the special the golden chai and I added 2 shots of espresso. So unbelievably delicious!! I don't know how they made the chai (well she did explain it to me) but it was amazing and with so much flavor! I love the atmosphere here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite places to go when I want some time to myself. Highly recommend!

Pour over is excellent and the burrito is seriously the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, and I live in Denver! Gf had egg & cheese on a muffin, and again, it was probably the best muffin I've had! Everything was excellent, highly recommended if you're cruising through or staying in Dubuque!

My favorite cafe in Dubuque!! Whether you want coffee, a smoothie, lunch, or a pastry, Inspire is the place for you. Some recommendations I will offer: white mocha latte, vegged out smoothie (promise it's super delish), and any flatbread, but Antonio is the best. The atmosphere is laid back and the owner is personable.

My husband and I were looking for a place in Dubuque to meet family and were very happy with our choice of Inspire Cafe. They have proper cortados and a great menu selection. Definitely recommend!

This was a great stop on our motorcycle trip, the coffee and breakfast was good and the millwork area is an amazing architectural walk.

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the owners were there and they are just lovely! I was welcomed from the moment I walked in, to the second I left. It was such a pleasure talking with them and hearing all about their plans to making even More improvements to the already Awesome Inspire Cafe! Lots of healthy options on the menu! We're not talking boring options either , but fun, tasty things on the menu. They seemed to have mastered the art of blending all the good, healthy , key ingredients together!
The staff was very informative, knowledgeable and super sweet as I ordered food for the first time there.

The staff here are kind and skillful! I was impressed with the menu. I had an egg sandwich and it wasn't your typical 2 bite cafe sandwich. Filling and delicious! I also love their Mayan Mocha!

The environment is relaxing and comfy with a fireplace and plenty of seating.

This place is great... stopped in for a Sunday morning coffee purely off of a google search for "coffee" and after some research decided to head on down. Great old building and setting with an updated design inside. Friendly staff, scrumptious muffins, and delicious coffee. Plus they have a excellent array of seating options... I love me an old leather chair with brass rivets to sip coffee and think.

Absolutely love this Inspire Cafe. The atmosphere is incredibly conducive for a writing and creative head space. The coffee is good, they have oat milk and Buddha Bowls. I spent several hours here and got a lot done. Highly recommend!

I am a tea person, and they have a unique and delicious assorted of custom teas. Lots of great coffees too. Self serve water station.
Free WiFi, very cozy. Seating from couches, tables for two to long tables for groups.
Snacks, breakfast, lunch, all with a unique twist. ( Not just spicy trend, but they have that too). Outstanding fresh bakery items.

Last Sunday of the month They serve formal tea, for a special treat. Great art, and occasionally live music. Owner had always been there when I go. Personal touch, actually really wants patrons suggestions.

I have been here twice for business meetings and both times the staff were really friendly. I have yet to try their food, but it looks good! The hot chocolate & strawberry smoothie were yummy.

My first trip to Dubuque, my mom and I both very much enjoyed this coffee stop. The vibes this facility gives off are filled with positivity :)
We each had a coffee (one hot, one cold) and we both found ourselves talking about how good the coffee was all day long! Also some good breakfast food options, some even vegan too. The cleanliness and steps taken to help with covid were greatly appreciated.

Review update: GF option issue was handled by management via my below commentary. Happy to see proactive resolution. Good and coffee have always been great at this place. Nice to have the GF options back consistently so my partner and I can eat here together.

OLD REVIEW: This review should be higher BUT this place claims to be gluten-free friendly HOWEVER we have been here 5 times in a row and each time they claim they have “run out” of GF options. Either Be consistent or stop false advertising! You’re wasting valuable customer time!

Ambiance is fantastic. The smoothies are really good but a bit pricey. I've also had a flatbread and it was pretty good. I'd love to go down there sometime and bring my laptop. Overall, it's a great cafe.
