Days Inn by Wyndham Dubuque

This was the perfect affordable place to stop after a long drive. The staff was not only friendly but knowledgeable, Phil was a breath of relief when he was told I travel with a service dog not only did he understand ADA law perfectly but he even accommodated assigning us a room on the first floor. The hotel is well lit and there were no guests lingering outside it felt very safe. The rooms were nicely decorated and very well cleaned. The only negative complaint I could think of was that the toilets have a longer refill time than normal but for the exceptional value of the rest of the Inn that is acceptable. The complementary breakfast was clean and offered numerous drink options, cereal, bagels and a few more portable breakfast bars or items to choose from,including fresh fruit. 10/10 would stay here again.

This is a family run business and as such the manager/owner is very nice and friendly.
The room included a small refrigerator, microwave, TV, an iron and even an ironing board. They have some rooms for people with disabilities that are probably equipped with easy access ♿ ramps and parking 🅿 next to the room with easy access. See additional amenities in their listing.
The location is a little hard to find even though they have a big sign that can be seen from far away. Finding which access road is a little tricky. An additional sign at the entrance road would solve this minor problem.

A job well done to Mr. Conrad for the updates on the rooms. The room looked great and was very clean. I was a late check-in, tired, and a bit grumpy, but the gentleman checking me in was patient, very professional, and courteous despite my sour demeanor. Thank you!

Went to the spirits bar, wow what a great place, the bartenders are super nice and are great at making sure everyone is taken care of with drinks and what not.......I'm definitely going there again

Really enjoying my stay here. Positive energy from the staff. My room was clean when I arrived. They are understanding and actually will hold a conversation with you instead of brushing you off. The break fast is a plus it's a great way to start your day!. And their bar/grill has some good food.

Nice older hotel. Clean room, cheap, and the ac was super cold. Even better was they have a bar and grill at the hotel, which you dont see too much anymore. The food was fried bar food, but it was very good.

Good quality for the price. Pool was outside but it was clean. No hot tub. We stayed on the 4th and it had cash bar specials in the restaurant. Nice people, clean rooms. Lots of places to eat about 5 minutes way.

Overall our stay was good the beds were firmer than were use to. Everything worked wifi was excellent and price was great at a short notice. staff was helpful the only thing we wanted to have a few more pillows and they couldn't give us more. Breakfast was kinda skimpy only had toast/bagels cold cereal coffee was not working and juice dispensary for orange juice also. Wish they had chocolate milk. Was cool they had a bar next door.

From Google maps, it might tell you that you are here on Dodge St, but you need to take the exit and turn right, right away. It's kinda hidden. But, rooms are quiet and clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Definitely recommend

Can't do better for a motel. Was driving through and decided to stop for the night. If you want something nicer, you're looking at $200+ in the area.

For the price, it was exactly what I needed. Clean, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with great shower pressure. You could tell they had done some upgrading without remodeling the whole room - lamps, carpet, some walls were old but bedclothes and bathroom were all new, including the pillows which were comfy. Honestly the bed was as nice as I've had in 4-star hotels. Breakfast wasn't hot or anything but did the trick - packaged muffins, breakfast bars, fruit, cereal, juice and eggs. Don't expect a Hilton or whatever. It's a clean motel to get some rest in. For those who care, there's an in house restaurant, outdoor pool, and they seem to have entertainment of some kind all the time.

I have stayed in a motel kind of setup only once before in the states and it was horrible. I was quite skeptical before booking days inn considering my safety and other things.

However, this place was a pleasant surprise. The receptionist welcomed me, I pre booked so got a deal for $50. The room was quite, spotless and had all the basic amenities that one needs. Kudos to the Days Inn staff for a great room.
Breakfast was a turn down but I cannot except much for an all inclusive $50 room.

Would highly recommend any one visiting Dubuque on a budget to give this place a chance

This review is 1 year too late. I'm originally from the Quad Cities but never been to Dubuque. After 2 1/2 decades I went back for my daughter's wedding and it was better than expected. It started off bad but ended up great. No rooms available. We didn't have reservations because there wasn't anything available all around Dubuque unless you want to spend a small fortune and many like us, we can't afford the "extra" amenities that those over priced hotels charge so.....I took a chance on this hotel. A woman named Leanne M. made it possible. She did what she could within her allowed limits to make sure that my wife and I had a place to stay for this wedding. We cannot say enough about Leanne M. because she made this trip pleasant with her friendliness and smile. Thank you Leanne for all you do!

This was a great place to stay for the price. It is close to the Mississippi river museum which was an awesome place. They were able to change our room to something that was more handicapped accessible without even any notice we were on the bottom floor. Try not to book with Priceline as they take 50% of the profits when booking this Inn. The continental breakfast was just fine with four different types of cereal, oatmeal, choice of fruit apple or banana, coffee and muffins.

I stayed here before today was please with staff & location was very busy due to a wedding and a concert...Today I called re a pending reservation I spoke with Tristan I believe is the correct spelling very kind, very professional, anticipated my needs...I expected a poor resolution to my issue and he was amazing took care of my needs..No muss no fuss...in this day and age when people usually only complain I just want to let you know what a gem you have there...thanks I'll be staying there again soon..

Low rate and very basic nothing fancy and just what we needed. The bar was great also. The only complaint is the bed seemed angled down when you put your head on the pillow so we slept with heads at feet of the bed. I would suggest for Dubuque being a river town to somehow make a few parking spots for those staying over night with boats.

The staff here is amazing and are very nice. I only wish the breakfast was better but I have a feeling it is due to covid. I would definitely book a room here again. We had our cat with us and the fee for him was very reasonable. I would highly recommend!

Great experience for a value priced hotel room. Extremely friendly desk staff. Room was larger than expected compared to similar hotels, with a radiator that purred softly while sharing pleasant heat. Continuous snow removal in the midst of a significant storm was a welcome sight. Definitely exceeded expectations.

New owners. Making improvements as we speak. Attentive to your needs. Unique for a Days Inn to have a bar with live rock and roll. Beds were comfortable. Pool emptied after Labor Day. Bar also has quite a variety of reasonably priced food. Owners gave us good breakfast to go take out, to reduce COVID-19 risks.
