Menards

I have always had a positive experience at Menards but tonight was above and beyond! I purchased a garage door in December and the wrong spring was enclosed. I would like to give a big shout out to Alex the Building Materials Department Manager and crew for sending me home with the correct spring to finish the install! Pleasant, helpful above and beyond! Thanks Guys!

Ken in the cabinet section was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time looking at cabinets. He was really knowledgeable and helped us navigate through the options.

Shout out to Jamie and Melissa in the paint department. Friendly and so accommodating. Their knowledgeable advise helped matching our color selection much easier.

Ok. Let's start with "I love my Home Depot.". And I love my Lowe's. But...if you haven't shopped at Menards, you really are missing out. The variety, selection, diversity of things in stock at Menards may ONLY be rivaled by Amazon. It's seriously insane. Last trip there I got lumber, plumbing, electrical and...wait for it... Blueberry Cobbler flavored candy corns. Yeah. You read that right.
Plan a couple hours to walk and gawk on your first trip.

Excellent place to buy ALMOST anything you want. Employees have always been friendly, even with a hobbled old guy asking for help. NEVER have I been treated rudely or shoved off to the side. With the 10% rebate it's worth it. Menards is usually fairly inexpensive.

Good selection of items, definitely geared towards contractors vs. individuals like me. As a result, staff/helpful knowledge is more limited, but this is the business model and expected. However, if you do need assistance and ask for help, the staff is usually knowledgeable!

I love Menards, they have most everything a person could need there to build a house, shed or building or fix most anything, including yard items. They have excellent tools & cleaning items as well as pet food & people food. The workers are very helpful.

My main place to go when I need supplies for home improvements. I enjoy the fact that they have the 11% rebate going on so often. I also applaud their requiring their customers to wear masks. Its a small inconvenience when compared to the fact that its helping to protect customers and staff safe. Wish more stores would take their example.

A great home improvement store, with consistently low prices. From tools to materials, selection is always good. Weekly deals and rebates add additional value. Staff genuinely want to be helpful, and many have trade experience. My preferred store for all home projects.

We dealt with Erica in the Cabinets Dept. She was very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to see her. Menards has just about anything you are looking for.

Everybody was super helpful!! Went out of their way and asked if i needed help before i had to go looking for someone! I would recommend!
Update: SUPER BUSY! But its spring. They have things here that Lowes doesnt have and if the same as Lowes, more of a selection. Only thing I was disappointed with was the price of ceramic planters! I was ready to buy 4 and then i saw the price of $220 for them. I was crushed. Would have spent $100 or so, but not $220. 😣

Dubuque menards usually has very friendly staff and helps when needed. Also have better prices than Lowes and other places around town.

This store has a nice and organized layout. The employees on the floor are always so helpful. Jerry helped us find something today - wonderful guy! The cashiers are also pleasant and quick at checking you out.

It took us awhile to find a paddle switch, but we found our light sockets and furnace filter, freon and bleach just fine. Loved the Halloween displays!!!

Wonderful expierence today at the Dubuque Menards! Was searching for an item w/ no luck and an associate noticed n asked can I help you find what your looking for? He personally walked me to the item several isles away. I was extremely thankful.
Always love the variety and seasonal items too. GREAT STORE!

Stopped in right after 7:00 a.m. and had no less than five people ask me if I needed help and Menards offers more than just home repair stuff staff was excellent they all need raises

I come to this Menard at least once a week. looking for odd things I need a whim. never had any trouble looking for anything because the workers are extremely nice even with the current pandemic situation.

I had one guy literally walk around with me for about an hour helping me pick the best budget shingles for a garage.

Willie in the plumbing department is a rockstar. I work in customer service relations myself and the service provided by Willie and the other staff members turned a nearly ruined Christmas present into a bigger and better experience and I could have thought. I purchased an entertainment center with a Built-in electronic fireplace 2 weeks before Christmas and a week later when I went to pick it up I was told that my item is no longer available and had been sold, even though I had already paid for it. I was offered an exchange for an item that was bigger and better than what I was going to originally purchase, I accepted the offer and couldn't be happier.

I wish Menards had a store near my home in Phoenix. I have no words to even compare Menards to the other Home stores.
