The Firebird Cafe

Great food and coffee. We ordered two tofu burritos, home fries and coffee which were excellent. We waited about 10-12 minutes and enjoyed sitting inside. It's a smaller restaurant but it also has a nice outside patio seating area that would be ideal when it's nice outside. The service was good and it was well worth the relatively low cost (12 bucks a person). My only complaint is that the home fries had good seasoning and flavors but could have been slightly crisper - they were basically large thick cubes of potato that could have been smaller/thinner to help crispness. We will definitely stop by here again!

The sign outside Eat good food HERE says it all! Order at the counter, get your coffee, then pick a table - outside if weather permits. A server will bring your food and it was just delicious. We both had the chorizo omelette which was downright tasty but it was hard to choose from a range of trad and mexican inspired breakfast dishes. The sandwiches looked good too. Open until 3pm. A real find, well priced. We will be back.

If you are looking for fancy atmosphere, you're in the wrong place. If you want a tasty burrito, give The Firebird Cafe a try.

This converted service station is a little funky but I loved my burrito. The rest of my party seemed to really enjoy their food as well.

Good food and nice staff. Food came out well and the eggs Benedict was good for my first time having them. Definitely a good visit and would come back again.

My husband & I went to Firebird Cafe for the first time to have breakfast. It was fabulous! The location is just so cozy & welcoming, and the food is to die for! We had the French toast & chorizo eggs benedict pictured.

I'm just going to say I'm from south of Mexico, and the chorizo taste just like home. I've been 4 years in the country and this is the first time I found something really good. Who ever is the owner, you did an amazing job, we really enjoy our breakfast and everything was very tasty. Thank you!

Their food is unique in a subtle way, flavor profiles of every menu item I have had are amazing!

The service and food were amazing! A great place to eat and talk as the environment is very relaxing. Plenty of free parking is located behind the building off Park Street.

Really enjoyed this spot, the service was friendly, quick, and great value for your money. The sourdough French Toast was one of the better versions I've had around the area and the burritos are very solid as well. Great outdoor seating options if you want something more open. Staff were very friendly and Professional. Izzy made me feel very welcome and appreciated.

Wow, this place is a pleasant surprise, much more than you'd expect from looking at the outside. Fun atmosphere, cool art, great burritos, and the WORLD'S BEST PANCAKES!! served with real Vermont maple syrup and lots of smiles!

The food is really good. They have several gluten-free options. I wish there was more seating available.

Stopped here to fuel up before a hike. Friendly staff, simple but inviting ambiance, and the huevos rancheros were delicious - we cleaned our plates!

Hands-down my favorite breakfast spot around, and a top spot for lunch too! The huevos rancheros is especially yummy. The staff is always friendly, and service is quick. I'm sitting in the parking lot right now waiting to be the first breakfast customer :)...photos to come! (edit: photo added!)

Freshly made Breakfast, ordered at the counter from a very friendly gentleman and delivered to your table, served all day. Awesome choices and options! Will be visiting that place again!!!

There's great staff!! Amazing food! They get food out decently quick for 1 cook and 1 waitress!

Food was excellent! Everything was made to order and tasted fresh. Customer service was helpful and professional. Extensive menu with lots of great options. My only recommendation would be to stop using paper plates and plastic cutlery. It's difficult to eat on paper plates and is also very wasteful. Invest in a dishwasher please. Otherwise, would definitely recommend and will eat here again in the future.

Didn't love it, certainly didn't hate it. All the items have a definite southwestern flair. The service was friendly and the food got served fairly quickly. It's not our favorite place to eat, but only because we don't particularly care for the menu style. The food and the presentation is five star.

This a my go-to place for breakfast/brunch/lunch place in Vermont. I visit several times every time I’m in VT and I have never been disappointed. The team there is so accommodating and friendly. I can’t recommend it enough.

Mexican/American cuisine. Vegetarian options available. Serves breakfast all day. Seems to be a popular local spot. Customer service was very friendly.
