Nice small hidden trail right next to a nice dog park and just across Veterans Memorial Park. Plenty of parking, dog friendly (must be on the leash). Nice easy walk with a great view of mount Mansfield. Great way to get a break from the city and reconnect with nature. Wear appropriate hiking shoes as it gets pretty muddy after a rain.

Beautiful little collection of trails; nice views, variety of terrain and flora. Pine woods, deciduous woods, open meadows. Free parking, easy walk if you don’t have time for a long hike.

The children's nature park area here is magical for little kids, and it one of our favorite places to go as a family! There are a variety of play areas made with different natural materials like stones and logs. There is a tea party area surrounded by wildflowers, a homestead-style area with a play fire pit and teepee, a sandbox full with dinosaurs, a gazebo that feels like a tree house, and more. Plus, there are great views of Mt. Mansfield and it is easily accessible from the South Burlington Bike Path. Definitely a Vermont gem!

Beautifully maintained trails. Great mix of sun and shade. Wear boots after rain as it can be quite muddy.

A perfect spot for you and your furry friends! I go to this park about 3 to 4 times a week with my pup. The trails are easy and fun. It's surprising how many different loops you can do. Very well maintained! I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to hike a mountain but wants to enjoy simple trails!

Many trails that go through all sorts of terrain. You don't realize quite how large it really is and how many directions it goes, so bring a map if it's your first time!

Great little trail system. Open areas as well as some woods.

Wild flowers, well kept (but not overly manicured) rambling trails set against an undulating backdrop of mountains and big sky... what's not to love.

For a park in a larger town this place shines. I wish the trail system was a little more logically setup and marked better for new comers. Definitely a spot to enjoy when you have a small window of time to get out.

We have a community garden plot here, so I"'ve had ample opportunity for exploring the trails. There are a couple intersecting loops that let you choose your own way through the park. As previously mentioned by other reviews, one of the loops can be rather wet (it leads into a semi-wetland, after all), but the other is typically dry. The trails are fairly easy and good for families; I walked them while rehabbing my knee. Some good views of the Mansfield and Camel's Hump, and otherwise quality time spent beneath the trees.
