The town of Bethlehem wanted to rebuild the town's raised bed gardens. Paulson Lumber gave us a great price on excellent lumber, and Lowes offered all the galvanized hardware at cost. The 12 gardens are located behind the elementary school, and the teachers and students maintain the gardens. The school now offers a class in gardening, and the produce goes to the town's food bank. A local farm donated the compost fertilizer. Thanks to all who made this project such a great success for the community, the students, and those in need.

Great old school lumber yard. Poulson's was highly recommended by my neighbors so I went here recently for some lumber for an outhouse project. The staff in the office was very helpful steering me in the right direction for what I needed, and the yard guy Tim was awesome. Got me what I needed, helped me load up and get on my way. Prices were great. Will go back again.

I had a great experience with this locally owned lumber yard. I live pretty far away but needed some hard to find lumber and Poulsen Lumber was able to find it for me when other lumber yards weren’t able. Their pricing was awesome as was their service. I will definitely do business with these folks again

Great prices, friendly owners who are super helpful! The lumber here is good quality and strait! Avoid places like Home Depot and Lowe’s and go to your local lumber yard like Poulsen’s of you want your project to stay standing and not warp and twist like it will if you buy junk wood from big chain stores. Keep it local folks!

Fine people, great customer service, nice selection, and very reasonable prices. Compared to the twisted, warped, and checked lumber offerings at Lowe’s and Home Depot, Poulsen’s wood looks like furniture quality. They stock an impressive selection of pressure treated lumber for exterior projects. I like this place a lot.

They fill the bed of a pickup with good pine-bark mulch for $25 instead of paying $4 /bag at lowes.
