If you're looking for decent Szechuan style chinese food, this place is great. The general tso chicken is moist, their low mein is tasty. We only get take away.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Food was freaking amazing. I ask the lady what was the #1 seller and she said general tso chicken, and pork fried rice. She did not lie. I’m going back today, best Chinese food I’ve had in 10 years

I highly recommend the C4 (chicken with garlic sauce combination). I request it to be "extra, extra, extra spicy" and it's always cooked to perfection. I've been eating here for 15+ years and always order the same meal -- and it's ALWAYS phenomenal! ❤

Very good. The general Tao chicken had tons of sauce and all the chicken was crisp but most in the middle. Fried rice is good and not too oily. The best Chinese food I’ve had in Burlington.

Compared to all the other Chinese food places, this is the best one that isn't expensive. It's very affordable and tastes great. China express is the perfect place for good and quick Chinese food. Did you know they're on Shelburne Road? 10/10. Good prices, food, and service. We always order take out. Pan fried dumplings and hot and sour soup are really good.

The garlic sauce is tasty. They have my favorite wonton soup. Good portions for the price. Been here many times and always satisfied.

I LOVE the "Make your own tofu dish," it's awesome, I get it every time. Choose your tofu style (steamed or fried), rice type, 2 veg and sauce. Chinese tofu is the best, way better than I can cook it and I get the flavors I want every time for under 10 bucks. Also tried the chicken teriyaki tonight which was delicious, they used nice pieces of chicken. There were only 3 people doing everything on a busy Friday night, its hard work cooking that much food so quickly plus and taking orders and manning the counter, so I appreciate the people who work here. Thank you!

Pleasant surprise while here for work. I was craving some good Chinese food and since moving to TX from the northeast, you just simply can’t find it. I was hoping this would be great and it was. The sesame chicken was nice and crispy, lo mein flavorful, and the wonton soup/egg roll/crab rangoons were great. Good portions and affordable. A little taste of home.

We travel from Essex to eat food from here! Excellent everything! We have never had a bad meal. Friendly staff. So glad our daughter told us about this place! Yummy!

It doesn't look like much from the outside. Don't let that fool you. The food is excellent. A friend turned me on to this place 7 years ago. They've been my go-to for Chinese food ever since.

We got two entrees and it came with an egg roll. Each for 10 bucks! Fire food for cheap price.

Great food and service, we visit on Thanks Giving Day 2019 and was the only restaurant open that we could find. Great that they were open. Hotel was going to charge $24.00 a head for a buffet that was sadder than anything I ever saw and we walked away. China Express to the rescue and the food was fantastic.

Wonderful food. Nice portions too. The dumplings, beef lo mein and chicken egg foo young were all excellent.

Honestly one of the best Chinese food restaurants on the lower price scale. This place is better than the university mall Chinese food place, by far.

I've never meet such wonderful kind people at a Chinese restaurant in Vermont as I did at China Express on shelburne rd.

I never do reviews but I couldn't not review this place as I've lived in Vermont 28 years and never eaten here until 1 month ago. Its deffinitley a hidden gem most wouldn't think of trying.

TRY IT I PROMISE YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED!!

I have to admit, at first glance the place is kinda sketchy. However, the staff is always great and so is the food! This is my go-to place for Chinese food (and I live across town!)
