My family all got our sandwiches here and it was the best panini I’ve had in a while.
I was treated with respect and they made accommodations to customize my sandwich how I wanted.
The fact that they seem to employ young workers is great and shows they care both about good food and their community :)

This place is amazing. You'd never guess, but the deli is just about the best in the New North End. The portions are beyond generous on their sandwiches and salads. In both cases--and we're big boys who are big eaters--they readily yield two meals. Staff is super nice. Also, you can call ahead then pick it up. Since discovering them a while back, we get stuff here once or twice a week.

Don't let yourself be fooled by the location, this is a hidden gem with generous amounts of meats piled on the sandwiches, great selections and you can always customize any parts you don't want.

Loved their subs when I lived in Burlington. Go back to get another sub whenever I'm down that way!

See ya Jolly-Keep your ROTTEN food!! Instead of simply telling me they didn't have any apples for my Vermonter Sub, the kid put rotten ones on... Thankfully, I checked and was able to wipe the 2 slices off (yes, 2 slices on a large ham sub) and remove the ham they had touched before I bit into it. If I hadn't been so tired, I would have returned it for my money back. SHAMEFUL! This was yesterday. Last week, I went in placed my order and walked over to the chip aisle. In the meantime, 3 guys come in and walk up to the deli and ordered and the girl made their sandwiches before mine while I stood there for 15 minutes! When the guys walked away, I asked "why didn't you make my order first since I clearly ordered first?" Her reply, "not sure." No apology, no nothing. No thank you, no respect. Too many other businesses to give my money to...see ya Jolly!

So today (a month after my review above) I'm starving and make the mistake of thinking anything might have changed so I grab a breakfast sandwich from these guys. The pictures say it all...a $5 pile of fat. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

As people have said before me, the young employees clearly do not want to work there. I threw out a sandwich after it was made and got subway because it was an uncomfortable experience waiting for my sandwich. I felt like the male kid would have definitely spit in my sandwich when given the chance - and i didn't watch him the whole time.

Every time I go in there at night there’s young kids and they’re so rude and act like they don’t want to be there serving customers. They make the customer feel like a inconvenience. They don’t listen to what you’re asking for and when they can’t find what you’re asking for they give you crazy attitude. The young tall thin kid with medium brown hair there is the worse. He’s super rude. I go to this store every day trying to give the kids who work there a chance but there rudeness never fails. I’m not going to this store ever again. I rather travel to a different store than go two minutes down the road to this one. I’ve never had the deli so I can’t speak on that section of the store.
