Von Bargen's Jewelry

We bought our wedding rings at Von Bargen's in Burlington this year, and it was an extremely pleasant experience, especially compared to considering options at the U Mall. Gary was super helpful and we were able to design custom rings with our pretty modest budget.

We stopped in Von Bargen’s on our Burlington day trip and the store did not disappoint. George was welcoming, knowledgeable, and hilarious. I could have easily spent more time in the store just chatting with him but we found the perfect Amali necklace rather quickly. So many beautiful items and local artisans too! Thanks for making our day trip successful.

This is a good story so you should read why I gave it a 5 star.
I was TDY in the military I asked my GF at the time to take a look with a friend at rings around Burlington, VT to see what she was interested in "If I proposed" yes I know that was a lead on.
She went to many places and we talked about all the different style/sizes/.... and more. She mentioned a couple of other places but I liked Von Bargon's because of the relaxed atmosphere, they worked with my price line & provided me a complimentary beer while talking to them! btw it was a Switchback, I talked with a very knowledgeable employee there.
Our conversation consisted of a budget, center diamond and style. From there we discussed the setting. I had plenty of time to decided. I did get a friendly reminder every month about my decision, which was nice because I wanted to pay outright and not finance the ring. At the time I didn't have $5k+ to pull out. We were still saving for a down payment on the house.
My experience was very inviting but understand when you look for a ring at Von Bargon's they know their job & will work with you.
Not to give away all the secrets but they gave me $ towards her wedding band which I plan to purchase from them.

My experience working with Gary at Von Bargen's was exceptional. He sought out the best quality diamond to fit my budget and the price was competitive with other retailers (including online). It was nice to work with someone I trusted for such a big purchase. And, my fiance loves her ring! We will be back for our wedding bands.

When shopping for an engagement ring I was very focused on finding someone I enjoyed working with. Von Bargen's was the first place I stopped in, met Dawn, and stopped looking elsewhere. There was no pressure throughout the process and Dawn was patient, very attentive, and gave great advise. When we went back to pick wedding bands we had an equally enjoyable experience and Dawn made sure we found the right options for both of us. I can say confidently that the staff, quality, service and experience through Von Bargen's is best in class and I would highly recommend working with Dawn and the rest of the Von Bargen's staff.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience making the biggest purchases in our lives to date, than the one we had with Ali and Dawn at the Burlington Von Bargen's Store. Ali helped my husband find the most beautiful unique Todd Reed engagement ring. Dawn was beyond patient with the two of us as we took our sweet time (months) choosing our wedding bands. Their customer service is personable, timely and attentive. We recommend this store to anyone and everyone!

I love everything about Von Bargen's! The entire staff is welcoming, patient and fun to work with. It is always a great experience; whether I am going in with the intention of buying something new, creating a repurposed piece or just to try on the gorgeous jewels much like I used to do when I was a little girl playing with my mom's jewelry. At Von Bargen's I can stay within my budget while learning about stones, metal and designers. Ali has become my friend and my go-to-gal, but everyone is great and we are all bonded by our passion for jewelry which is really fun!

I absolutely loved Von Bargen's. I worked specifically with Allison who was just amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I never got the feeling that she just simply wanted to sell something. She genuinely wanted me to find just what I was looking for and she made that happen. The ring I chose is stunning. The diamonds are the best quality I have ever seen. I went to several different places but I knew Von Bargen's was the best. I got every penny's worth in the ring I selected. Charlotte Volk is one of a kind! Fluent in gemology and she provided us with fair and thoughtful advice during our time with her. It feels very nice to be advised versus being sold. She had a great personality and made our time at Von Bargen's very memorable. We would recommend the shop to anyone looking for a top-shelf experience. Charlotte is a consummate professional and the diamonds and jewelry are of unrivaled quality.

I have been shopping at Von Bargen's for almost 20 years. They re-made my mother-in-law's engagement ring for me, created my wedding band, and have helped me and my husband find quite a few pieces since then, from a small tourmaline pendant, on up to fabulous diamond earrings and a John Von Bargen diamond pendant. Regardless of what you are looking for, in what price range, Phillip and his staff treat everyone like the one and only customer in the world. And if they don't have exactly what you are looking for, they will make it! I love shopping at Von Bargen's and would recommend it to everyone.

My first experience at Von Bargens was amazing. I went here to have my grandmothers rings melted down to make a new wedding band and Melanie was very knowledgeable, went out of her way to be accommodating, and made it a painless experience. Repurposing old family jewelry was way more affordable than I would have ever imagined and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to do the same. The mounting was made at Von Bargens. Jason's help was invaluable, as he really understands how to help guys like me, especially in educating on what makes a diamond perform!

I am very impressed by the employee's at Von Bargen's! My now 10 year old daughter and I venture into the store whenever on Church Street just for fun.
