Oakledge Park - Forever Young Treehouse

Great for kids and adults to explore and hangout. Wheelchair friendly. A bench to sit on and relax. Sit on the bench, enjoy the view, feel & smell the fresh air coming from the lake. Pretty quiet in the morning.

This is the first publicly universally accessible treehouse in the country. It was built in 2004. It is beautifully designed.

This is a great location for small weddings. You cannot reserve the treehouse for events, but it usually isn’t a problem for quick ceremonies. The space can hold about 12 people comfortably.

There is a little problem with graffiti at the treehouse. If you see graffiti use SeeClickFix and report it.

The bike path goes thru near by. If you follow it, it will take you to the Peace Clock.

The beach is down the hill. Check the Park’s and Recreation website for water quality. Blue-green algae can be an issue. If it is blooming, it can make people (especially children) and dogs sick. Great spot to watch the sunset.

I was there earlier in the day so I don't know how busy it gets, but it was a nice spot to stop at and just unwind for a minute. There is also trails nearby that bring you to the lake.

A beautiful spot within oak ledge park, The treehouse is amazingly built and feels very whimsical inside. Great view of the fields and woods as well.

I took a nap on the rocks in the sun and watched the sail boats go by on a beautiful fall day, so yeah, it was just what I was hoping for.

Cool Park. Very well taken care of. Nice views of the waterfront if burlington in the distance.

What a beautiful park! I never like school photos, so we came here to get photos of our kids for this school year and they came out beautifully! Heads up, parking is very inexpensive but, not free.

A pretty location just long enough from park proper but not much of a hike as long as I can remember.

What a lovely park. It’s wasn’t too crowed when we went on a Saturday. The treehouse was neat. Parking wasn’t bad. I would like to come back and walk through the trail.

I do in fact feel forever younger at this one singular tree house that’s really just a gazebo in a tree 😎

Beautiful Park with trails and outdoor sports fields.

We love it and our kids love it! Lots of stuff to do, parking is easy, and super convenient. Been twice this past week.
