Such an important and well kept historical museum and in particular for amateur radio right here in KC’s backyard. This showcases that Kansas can-do attitude of our state.

Great museum that addresses a variety of interests. Mr. Ensor was a local educator and highly skilled in woodworking, electronics and building anything required to sustain and enhance life both on the farm and in his community. Definitely a must see for woodworking and Ham radio enthusiasts. An inspiring stop for professional teachers too. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Went Geocaching and found this park tucked between houses that I've driven past a million times! Was clearing out the spider sac from the geocache when it came out!

Easy to reach from Interstate 35 at Olathe Kansas. Tour includes main home with lots of artifacts from the 1890-1990’s! Also includes tour of numerous out buildings such as Marshall’s wood working and projects building. Of course there is plenty for the electronics hobbyist with the hand made radios from the home’s “ham shack” to WWII era military electronic equipment. Marshall was a Lt CDR in the Navy and worked of secret projects like enemy sub detection. Kids will have a blast as well. Want to see something really amazing, how about an 80’ tower Marshall raised 10’ using nothing but tree limbs as supports! This is really a worthwhile visit. Don’t miss it!!!
