Great place to learn about deaf culture. A great display of ASL throughout history. Everyone is very friendly. You walk through an exhibit that shows deaf artists , pictures of the school throughout history, and devices used for communication. Would highly recommend going.

It was fascinating to learn the history of the Deaf. Was also emotional seeing the self portraits of those that were or felt isolated from their disability. Great experience.

Great place to start getting acquainted with the Deaf community. Lots of history in written form. Also movies to personalize your experience. An art exhibit further enhances the story. This was my second visit and I still haven't seen everything. If you are curious or even familiar with the Deaf community, take a visit to this museum. You won't be disappointed!
