I feel bad that I ate the sandwich before taking a picture but it was that good!!! I always judge Reuben sandwiches when they are available at a place and this one did not disappoint in the slightest! Everything was perfectly combined together and was the epitome of a Reuben. The split pea soup with ham was out of this world and I would order it again. I could pick out all of the flavors and each one had such depth to it. I would eat that again in a heartbeat. The bread sticks were also amazing! I am not sure what they put on top of it but holy manna is it full of flavor. If you go for nothing more than that soup and the bread sticks, you will not be disappointed!

2022 First-timer ... An holycow so much food!!! I was hungry that's why I got chicken salad sandwich and 8oz cup chicken noodle soup. Well i got the sandwich which was so delicious I wasn't expecting lettuce and tomato on it. Plus the chicken noodle soup they gave a soup should have a spork (spoon and fork) that itself was filling enough then on top of it they give a roll and crackers.

2022 2nd time going I got the California Chicken sandwich... OMG the seasoning was spot on HAIL TO THE CHEF!!! It has a Fried Chicken Breast with lettuce & tomato and mayo. Note to self no mayo it was sliding all over the place kinda comical but still delicious!!!

2023 3rd time; I got the Beef & Cheese sandwich with Vegetable Beef. Remember WHERE'S THE BEEF on that sandwich. This time I remembered no Mayo but also no tomato just didn't want the sandwich to slide around OMG so much beef. Mmmm! Oh and when I read an item that says Vegetable being first I think that there would be more veggies and there definitely was plus a good helping of beef.

2023 4th time; WELL I FOUND OUT TODAY!!! That when you go to Soup Kitchen you get breadsticks, never knew. Now I want to eat at the place. Plus if you don't choose a bread type on Door Dash you get the bread type that's intended for that sandwich.

2024 I got SKS with cup chicken noodle soup. Not so much meat, one piece of turkey and two half strips of bacon. Lettuce is browning. Chicken noodle soup should be called noodle soup with carrots. When I went to pay the machine was set for 35% or 50% tip I didn't put tip on card and gave $. But for $11 meal and they ask for $3.85 to 5.50 for tip. Not sure if I will go back.

Really good place to stop in for soup and a sandwich. Not a far walk away from Sapp Bros truck stop. Or the truck wash. There is however no parking signs out front on Red wood but we parked there anyway. Glad we stopped and will be stopping here more often!

Super friendly staff knows what they're doing. Great menu options. It's the perfect place to stop to grab lunch & it's not expensive! I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area again!

I go to soup kitchen almost every day but I wasn't feeling well on Friday and tried their Turkey Melt which comes with a side of chicken broth. It was the perfect thing to ease my sore throat and get me through my work day. Thank you soup kitchen for making food that always hits the spot.

Amazing place to get a good sandwich and soup. Super friendly staff and fast service. My go to for lunch and will continue to do so in the future.

I love the food here its really good, I actually seen a young man come in and ask for a cup of water and the lady offered him not only ,a warm meal but asked him to sit down and enjoy it .what an awesome staff and kind people work here. Definitely 2 thumbs 👍 👍 s up.

A quaint little restaurant right next to some railroad tracks. There's not much else in the area, some autoshops, and whatnot. They keep some pretty limited hours only open on the week days from 10 am to 3 pm. My work will conflict with this one most of the time. At least it's close to where I live. I came in for the first time and got me a bowl of soup and a specialty sandwich. Now, the soup could have been warmer. I will have to ask next time if that occurs again. Now that sandwich was fantastic. The bacon was still hot, and it was so tasty. I will have to come again and try more of their dishes.

It's always a great day for soup. Warm your soul. Fresh bread 🍞 sticks and a bowl 🥣 of soup. The sandwiches are delicious as well. I love to get the pastrami with melted cheese. 🫠

I love the Soup Kitchen! I've been going to the Sugar House location for 20+ years. The one on Redwood is just as good. Great food and service everytime. Lol however I keep getting American cheese on my sandwichs, dispite telling them I hate it lol. Definitely check this place out, but if you hate American cheese as much as me, keep an eye on them.

Let me just start by saying I'm pregnant and picky. My first visit wasn't the best. I ended up not eating my soup but the sandwich was good enough to have me try it out a 2nd time. I'm now on my 5th visit today and tried something new. Turkey melt with veggie soup. It was the bees knees!! The only thing I'd change is no lettuce on the sandwich (it made the bread a little soggy) but otherwise it was top notch. Even as busy as they were, 12 to 13 people ahead of me in line, I was in and out in less than 15 mins. The ladies that run it are efficient and always smiling. Thank you!!

First time coming here, the front Asian lady was so nice. We got the BLT with avocado, the small size of clam chowder and tomato soup, it was amazing and the right amount to keep us satisfied. We left after we got the soup and forgot the sandwich but the lady rushed out as we were going back in to get it, she was super apologetic and nice. It tasted amazing. Great customer service and food, this is our new favorite spot. Not to mention crazy fast, the time we walked in and out and got everything was about 8 minutes tops

Great soup! Great sandwiches! Amazing staff! This is a very easy going place. One of my children wanted a grill cheese, but it wasn't one the menu, so they just made one up for them. If you want a good deal and great food. This is the place to go.

Amazing food! So sad I had to move. I really miss it.
