Wild Wings Ski Touring Center

I came here cause I was in the area while I had a craving to ski. It was $20 for the half day (after 1pm) and I had access to all the trails. They have a good map, and the trails were beautifully groomed. The only problem I could think of is that the trails aren't well-labeled. I found myself on a tiny black diamond portion of a trail that wasn't labeled on the map. As a newer XC skier, I found this problematic. Hopefully, they can go out there and add some new signage!
*the green (easier) trails have a bunch of signs that says "exit to ski center" which was nice. I would appreciate more signs with the trail map on them and a "you are here" pointer.

A jewel of a touring center. An excellent place for the whole family. They have lovely trails perfect for all levels. A couple of laps of peregrine if you enjoy a good workout or a leisurely ski around woodcock! I could not recommend Wild Wings more!

I’ve gone to just about every cross country ski place in the area and this is no longer the closest but it’s my fav. There is something very special about the forest there. Is some of the most serene and beautiful forests I have ever wandered through and to glide through on skis is delightful. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere with outdoor fires to sit around and chat. Great for couples, families, or alone, and all ages and abilities.

An absolutely amazing experience for us two beginners. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful trails, family-owned business that really cares about what they do and it shows. We’ll be back!

Literally the best ski touring center I have ever been to

Great day skiing lovely and well-groomed trails in Peru. We toured the beginner area first, which is where our beginner stayed. Most of us preferred the hillier intermediate areas. Just enough soft power to grip for classic and skaters alike.
I hadn't been here in over 40 years.

Wild Wings is a wonderful place to go cross country skiing. Trails were very well groomed. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The trails were well marked and beautiful. They offer a nice variety of trails , from novice to challenging. Plus on a Saturday afternoon with great conditions, it wasn’t crowed. Can’t wait to go back!

I love the trails at Wild Wings- magical and something for every ability level. The grooming is always amazing for the conditions, and the new trail, Peregrine, is well designed. The Black Family are wonderful, and if you go during sugaring season, you should probably buy some of their maple syrup.Try a yoga class before you ski for the full experience. Their rentals fleet is also in great shape and comfortable! Soup= mmm

I love wild wings. Even when you arrive and the parking lot is full, when you get out onto the trails, you hardly ever see anyone. And, the grooming is extraordinary. They have invested in top-notch equipment, so that even when the weather is horrible, you can still be guaranteed of skiable tracks.

I’ve been cross country skiing since the 1970’s and skied many a trail that was there just because it was easy and convienient to include it in a trail system and not because it made a good ski trail. This is not true at Wild Wings. Their trails are deliberately designed for great skiing, are one way so you never have to worry about oncoming traffic and are just plain fun! Still that’s not enough to make a great skii touring center. That takes snow! Wild Wings takes their grooming very seriously and really makes the most of even the smallest snowfalls. To top it off, the whole place has a friendly atmosphere from both staff and skiers.
