Severance Corners Village Center

I lived here for about two years and had a very positive experience. Sarah Hosack (property manager) was extremely responsive and great to work with. Maintenance requests were closed promptly although I seldomly needed to submit anything. Conveniently located as well. Would recommend checking this place out.

Its a beautiful quiet complex with easy access to groceries, Costco and interstate. However, Severance office and maintenance team used to be more responsive to maintenance issues. I lived here for almost 6 years throughout school and after graduation . Recently they are very unresponsive to maintenance requests, they either ignore your emails/calls or they’ll say they will fix it but either it takes forever or it never happens. I had multiple issues in the past few months including extreme high temperature in my unit ( which it never got fixed until it got cold outside). The only thing they suggested was to keep my windows open and have a fan running which did not help at all. I live in a studio and I only have a window so there is no air circulation. With 2 fans running and my window open all the time my studio was at 80-83 degrees from Aug- Nov on most days. I finally had to leave the apartment for few days because I couldn’t get any sleep at nights. It was super frustrating and there was no proper response from management (everyone just keep transferring me to another person). You would have no control on the temperature setting.
My freezer wasn’t working properly and after months of waiting for the new refrigerator an oversized fridge was delivered which it definitely didn’t fit in. The new refrigerator came in finally last week and its about 10 inch shorter, has much less space than my previous one and makes a really loud noise almost all the time ( writing this review at 4am because i woke up from the noise)... I am just so disappointed at this point...

Pretty quiet boring little place... If Mcgillicuddys wasn't there it would be nothing basically.
