Asiana House

We have been dining at Asiana House for (many) years. It has been our go-to restaurant for anniversaries, special events, and celebrations. Tonight was our last dinner here...but only because we are moving out of Vermont.

The owner always greets us with a smile, calls me by name, and often even recognizes my voice when I order for carry-out. We have never experienced unfriendly or incapable staff.

The sushi is excellent. Admittedly, I don't have a lot to compare it to, but when weighed against the other sushi options in this area, it is top notch. The cuts of fish are gracious and fresh, are often melt-in-your-mouth yummy. The hidden hit of wasabi in each sushi bundle is refreshing. And we never walk out hungry.

If I had to complain about something, maybe it can be cool (bring a sweater) in the restaurant, but even that was not an issue tonight. Oh, and the music is calm and low-key; perfect for dinnertime conversation (therefore, not a complaint).

We have loved going to Asiana House and hope that we can find a suitable replacement when we get to our new home.

Not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. I've been coming here for almost 3 years as it's always a reliable spot to scratch that sushi and miso soup itch. Great local spot with reasonable prices and good food. The folks working have always been kind and respectful.

Excellent food, even better sushi. It is super fresh, and obviously is all made in-house. The noodle bowls are great too. One of the best in Burlington! Service was good as well. Roomy, tidy building. Ate inside this time, but there is plenty of outdoor seating as well. Worth looking into if you've never been

We've been here multiple times thanks to some Jump On It coupons we had. Each time the sushi was great - the fish always looked and tasted fresh. And the prices are reasonable, especially given the quality. Plus the service is always really friendly and usually pretty fast.

Love this place!!! Great spot for dinner! My fiancé and I stopped here for some sashimi and tofu soup and was impressed by the value and taste. So happy to find a gem here would recommend and come again!

It's a little cramped, but obviously very popular, the service was excellent, and the food top notch. We did have the table for 4 with the cool breeze when people came in the front door, but we lived with it. Reasonable prices for fresh, artistic food. We would definitely return.

Fiance and I love to come here for date night. Sushi is AMAZING, staff is friendly and sweet, and service is quite quick unless it's super busy. Location is small as are the tables, not suggested for large parties. Perfect for small intimate sushi dates!

The best noodle soup in town

Food was awesome, sushi was so good. Staff was kind and helpful. And the menu is about 100 plus choices. Definitely going back .

Great service! Great sushi, with complex layered flavors rather than just spicy mayo on everything. Their agedashi tofu is light and yummy, in absolutely incredible broth. Interesting and filling vegetarian and vegan rolls available, definitely a crowd pleaser if you are trying to feed different diets.

They are currently offering fully contactless pickup due to COVID.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! We eat here for every celebration. They only use Ubereats and doordash for takeout just as an FYI!

Huge fan of Asiana House. Service is always great. Recommendations are always good. Which is imperative with a sushi place. The restaurant is well decorated without being hokie. And the open sushi chefs bar is amazing.

Absolutely beautiful place to eat. I'm blown away every time I eat there. One con however would be the small space. Depending on how you look at it, it's not bad at all and just adds to the environment.

This place has the best sushi in town. Trust me I’ve tried everywhere. They’re not open during the day but the wait is worth it. Xxxx your neighbor

The food is abundant, great and surprisingly fast . However the space is limited and doesn’t a leave you with a lot of wiggle room. There are tons of choices and should leave you satisfied. I love it!
